super, Andrew, thank you so much. Ahhh Index was so deliciously arrogant  and the Count equally languishing of French ennui. BTW your French is very good  Loved the performance !

Both PL ok.

I noticed this project hasn't had much movement for a while, so I decided to quickly record a few characters while I had some time. Apologies for not pre-claiming.

(I recorded the 1st Poet because he is in the Epilogue rather than in Act 3 proper; I noticed a few others who took an Epilogue role did the same, so I figured it was OK)

excellent, Tomas, and thank you so much for helping us reduce the unclaimed roles. :9: All three parts are PL ok (loved the director's voice  ) and yes the Epilogue is apart from Act 3, so claiming in both is ok.

Great - I can finish acts 1 and 2 now (save for unclaimed voice credits).

Thanks, Todd

Hi Sonia and Todd

Having seen the comment above about people reading parts in the Epilogue even if they have been in act 3 I thought to try to move this on by reading the few lines of the player

thank you, Alan :9: yes we can really use every voice here. I hope a few more readers will pitch in still...the roles are really very short.

Your Player is absolutely PL ok in all his amazement  Thanks !!!

Thank you. Here is my stock answer to "what should that character sound like?"
I very honestly leave choice of accents and characterizations in ANY part up to the reader. One of the key pleasures of running a play here at Librivox is finding out what the various readers have decided is right. Usually some unexpected things, and always different from how I had originally pictured the play on stage myself. So that the completed play is not my vision of what should be, but a truly new and exciting collaborative creation.
Yeah, I know, not very helpful....

Thanks, Todd

LOL. Actually, the question was semi-rhetorical, like Margaret Hamilton considering how to remove the ruby slippers. With a character name like “Farcical Comick”, it is pretty much anything goes.

Oh Sonia, what have you done? Do you not still awaken in the middle of the night remembering "The Parlourmaid"?

Thanks, Todd

(Apologies to Chris - it did fit the play perfectly.)
