Makes sense. Thanks.

  the constable sounds like Graham Chapman from Monty Python, now I see him before my inner eye. Won-der-ful !

And there's more to come, because you missed a part ;)

> at 1:16: (p. 63) "when some skin you have lost" – you say "from" (this is a case of the annoyingly long-s)
> at 1:43: (p. 67) part of speech missing: "I hope your Majesty will pardon a poor ignorant constable"

Sir Farcical is PL ok.

thanks for the brilliant characters. This puppet show must have been a hoot in the days.

Sonia
Aww - thanks for the compliment. There is a bit of G.C. in Farcical as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S_CGIWYT8PQ

Heya.

I did a pass on the manager in act 3, and a lot of editing including noise reduction. If the volume isn't quite right, or if there was something I missed, please let me know.

absolutely PL ok thank you so much. I love Chapman, he was one talented comedian, alas, died too young.

And I hope to hear you again in some other play :9: I really enjoyed this one, I wish it had been a bigger role.

ah now I was curious about your performance, Mark, so thanks for the fast turn-around. And you display nice comedic talents, the manager sounds so lovely enthusiastic, and of course...the accent is a special bonus for my ears. :9:

Your first steps into drama are PL ok. Congrats to your first official LV recording. Many many more to come hopefully, I hope you caught the stage bug now (many of us did...)

Concerning the volume and noise, it's perfect now. BTW you can check the volume and noise and other tech-specs with the Checker programme: http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/Checker I use it all the time, it's very handy.

Ah yes, one thing I nearly forgot: for the voice credit, you need not include "act 3", as this must get cut later in editing. No need to reupload now, but it's a reminder for future sections ;)

Ah Jaysus, I didn't expect to nail a first attempt. Thanks so much for the kind feedback. :D And yes, I'll keep that note at the end in mind for next time.

Regards
Methinks Dr Orator should also say, as his first line, the line labeled "ORA" on page 44: "A Muggletonian Dog stabbed me."

Thanks, Todd

EDIT: file sent by PM.

  I love the high voice you're doing here, it sounds like Farcical is constantly excited. A great portrayal indeed, thank you, Jim. Now looking forward to how you will act out your Constable.

I have a small deviation to the text:

> at 0:27: (p. 49) "I have made foreigners break English" – you say "speak", but the joke is lost in that case, also he later says "break Latin" so those two are mirroring each other

The rest is perfect, he should have had a bigger role.

Sonia
Alas, a Farcical Comic line missing over on page 55: "For all my puns, and quibbles, and conundrums are quite forgotten, slap my vitals!"

Separate file, please - I have the rest cut into the master file already.

Thanks, Todd

PL notes for Act 3: NEW TIME STAMPS

> at 0:35: (p. 39) missed: "Air I. Whilst the town's brimfull of folly"

> at about 1:31: (p. 44) missed: "Enter Don Tragedio, Sir Farcical Comick, Dr. Orator, Signior Opera, Monsieur Pantomime and Mrs Novel."

> at 6:18: (p. 63) "Sir John, aside" or "Constable, aside" – not really sure who says this as aside, either Sir John's entire speech or the beginning of Constable's speech up to the dash (I am opting for that one). In any case it should be at the beginning of the speech, and therefore the name needs to be included. You could maybe record both versions, then Todd can decide who says the aside

> at about 5:56: (second page of epilogue) missed: "Enter the Author" and "Enter Cat"
Missing stage direction line from page 64: "Enter Witmore, Monrywood, Harriot, Bantomite"

Separate file please, everything else is cut into master file

Thanks, Todd

All three acts now assembled. Some parts still out/unclaimed, but we're getting there. I am amazed that everyone did as well as they did what with the poor quality of this script!

I'll try to finalize acts 1 and 2 for PL soon while we wait for everything for act 3.

Thanks, Todd

All the recordings sound so lively and you can tell everyone was enjoying their roles. I can't wait to hear all of this put together. :)

Here you go. You are right, that script was an extra challenge for us.

Act 1 is ready for final PL except for some missing Act 3 voice credits that can be caught in Spot PL later.

EDIT: Act 2 is also ready for final PL.

Ye'all sound great together!
