I tried to make him sound easily distinguishable from Dominic.
thank you, David. Friedrich is excellently PL ok. And yes, he is already far away from Dominic, so there will be no confusion I guess.

you did listen to Act 2 as well ? I didn't find her too sympathetic then  at least not for that philandering husband of hers (no surprise there)

Now I am curious how you will play Mephisto. 8-)

I will play Mephisto with a black cape, top hat, and Malacca cane. Possibly a handlebar mustache and a puff of smoke.

Thanks, Todd

excellent ending for Anselm (though I think he was a bit too eager to get to old Karl  ) All PL ok. Thanks, Alan ! See you in the next Gilbert probably.

Mephisto awaits PL. Not the most patient of beings. Mind the fire and brimstone....

Bwahahaha, Todd
ok, you nearly lost your trusted DPL to a heart-attack after hearing the unexpected evil cackling at the end of Act II. You must warn me ! :help:

After recovering from the shock, I can appreciate the great performance though. You sound like the Tempter of old, suave, slick and very persuasive with a mellifluous voice. Makes one wonder.... :hmm:

In any case, all three acts PL ok. I wonder where he was in Act 4. Not even shortly gloating behind the curtain ? He was probably afraid Dame Martha would take him up on his promise

Great job ! Thanks

aww what a sweet Gretchen you are, Jenn. :9: Especially in the opening scene, you are so nice with Lisa. And later with Faustus, the ingenuity feels real too. Absolutely super performance. Also the anguish at the end in the flower-game.

Just one small part missed:

thanks
