Greetings,
May I be so bold as to claim the role of that dandy chap, Jerome Townsend? Not being a dandy myself but admiring those who can pull it off, I'd like to give it a go!

Well done, Kelly, you've played a very engaging Pansy! She seems to be a woman who doesn't really know her own mind half the time, poor thing, but she means well. Acts 1 and 3 are PL ok. We'll need a few edits in Act 2, though.

Act 2:

Part of voice credit missing (underlined). Should be "Pansy Purple, Jimmie's professional partner, read by..." It should be read just as it is listed in the MW. This could really go in any act, but let's just put it in this one, since the others are ok already.
0:16 Part of line missing (underlined). Line is (p. 22): "Well, fire away. What is it? You'll have to cut it short, for it's most time for our act." (As a side note, this line seems a bit louder than the rest, even to the point of clipping a time or two.)
6:51 Word switch here. Normally, it would be small enough that I'd pass over it without comment, but since the new phrase is repeated later on in the line, it sounds like a bit of a pun or something, and I'm not sure that's intended. Line is (p. 35), "Oh! Sure. I'll show him in, and if he ain't the real cheese, I'll leave it to you to show him up." Instead, I hear, "Oh! Sure. I'll show him up, and if he ain't the real cheese, I'll leave it to you to show him up."

Do you have a pet bird? Or maybe there are birds right outside your window? Some little feathered friend was getting a bit chatty, I noticed. If it is possible, it's best to record at a time when they tend to be quiet and calm, or in a room farther away where the chatter can't be picked up by the mic. It's not a problem, but I am curious.

Nice job, Tommy! Poor Jerome spends most of this play totally confused, it seems! Acts 2 and 3 are PL ok. (Although for some reason they each begin with almost 5 and almost 7 minutes of silence :hmm: ) But we need some edits on Act 1.

Act 1:

There is background noise throughout that I can see on the track. I can't hear it, but it's quite possible that with better speakers or headphones (or better ears!) it would be noticeable, so it's best to clean it up.
Part of voice credit missing (underlined). It should be "Jerome Townsend, a lover somewhat in the background, read by..." It should be read just as it is in the MW. Also, there is practically no space at the beginning of the track, before you begin speaking. It's always a good idea to leave a gap of half a second or so at the beginning, to avoid having anything cut off.
0:04 Leave a space of 3-5 seconds before your first line: "Here is my card."
4:04 Leave space for stage directions here before "I, too, wish to see her."

Todd, I think I've changed my mind. I'll leave Lillian for someone else, and I'll do your stage directions instead, if that's ok.

Thank you. You think you can avoid the villain this way?
