Todd, I just noticed a problem with the MW. There is no section for Jimmie in act 3, but he does in fact appear in that act.

David, I'm glad to know that you enjoyed the role of Jimmie, because we'll need for you to reprise him in the next act! (I will PL soon... ish. Sitting down to record my part now.)

Here is act 1. I had hoped to do them all in one fell swoop, but it's been a long day, and my voice is getting raw.

Thanks for letting me know, Devorah! I'd be glad to come back for the third act. :D

Act 2:
1:29 Repeat of "Don't you meddle into things." with a long pause between the two takes. (I thought both takes sounded fine. :) )
Miss Buzby fixed and reuploaded.
It's always the second take. I only redo stuff until I'm satisfied. :D

Spot PL ok!

Your instincts must be more trustworthy than mine. Or maybe you're less fickle than I am. I often redo a line, then later decide that I preferred the first version after all!

Well, not listening to myself during editing does help with that.
I don't prepare these, I just read the other person's text in between my lines (unless it's too much of a monologue). And then I just react to what I just "heard" being said. More a spontaneous reaction than a rehearsed one.

That's why I prefer certain types of roles where I don't have to "act" too much. I'm naturally bitchy, so...

Pettifer act 3

https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/missbuzbysboarders_pettifer_3.mp3

I felt that even when Pettifer tries to be assertive he would still be a bit frightened of his wife and rather nervous about what he is doing

Haha, yes, I can still hear a bit of trepidation in your voice, and probably for good reason, too! No sooner do you put her in her place than she goes and decides what the two of you will do the next day!

Mr. Pettifer PL ok!

I'm going to have to give up the part of Florinda, sorry!
