Here's the charming Mrs. Lanham -- yet another character I've played who treats her husband wonderfully (sorry again, Alan :D ):
yes, poor Alan, constantly called "ridiculous" by you  but I already heard Alan's character, he seems to take the jibes of his wife in his stride. ;)

Excellent job, TJ. I loved it very much. And it's absolutely PL ok. :)

Thank you, now looking forward to the second act

Sonia
Thank you so much, Sonia!
And here she is, Mrs. Lanham, Act 2:

yay, super done, TJ, this act is totally PL ok. I like the ad-libbing you are doing for the group lines here. Possibly Todd can use those quite well.

Poor Mrs Lanham sometimes is all aflutter with the chaos that is hovering over her party.

Thanks

Sonia

Here ie Elizabeth act 1 :) https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/civilianclothes_elizabeth_1_128kb.mp3
lovely play-acting, Ashleigh, and I especially like it when you sound miffed   your voice fits well the Elizabeth I had in mind.

Only one missed line, the rest is all good:

> at about 2:05: (p. 35) please insert: "Well settled ? Glad of it - Margaret Smythe just called me on the phone and I told her in confidence"

thank you

Sonia

Act 1 is PL ok now.

For Act 2 there are actually many more "others" lines, maybe you could insert your voice into that crowd as well ?

> at about 0:30: (p. 75, 78 and 81)
"Pleasant day—have you ever known such weather as we are having this winter ? Yes, indeed, I think they should let the soldiers out sooner. Oh, well, you know, Baker, I'm a Bolshevik myself."
"Hear—hear—"
"Sh—please."
"Sh—"
"Sh !"
"Go on, Mr. Hart !"
"Oh !"

Thanks
