Here are the stage directions for acts 1 and 2:
https://librivox.org/uploads/maryannspiegel/betrothal_narrator_1_128kb.mp3 @ 11.09
https://librivox.org/uploads/maryannspiegel/betrothal_narrator_2_128kb.mp3 @ 12.17
In act 2, scene III there's a typo in the text about 4/5 into the miser's first long speech. I'm not quite sure what "in his heard" ought to be, but I've rendered it as "on his head" as that seems most likely in context.

Here are the remaining stage directions for PL:
https://librivox.org/uploads/maryannspiegel/betrothal_narrator_3_128kb.mp3 @ 8.59
https://librivox.org/uploads/maryannspiegel/betrothal_narrator_4_128kb.mp3 @ 13.18
https://librivox.org/uploads/maryannspiegel/betrothal_narrator_5_128kb.mp3 @ 5.30
In act 5, towards the end of scene X, there are two and a half lines for Roselle buried in the middle of a stage direction. I've included them for completeness but you might want them read by Roselle herself.

Well, what a play!
It was almost as though the author were hell-bent on making it as difficult and expensive as possible to stage, what with a cast of thousands, throngs of children of all ages filling the stage, hugely complicated stage sets, and constant magical transformations. Maybe he was really hoping it would be staged as an opera, like The Blue Bird.
And don't get me started on the plot, and that scene right at the end which sort of explains why Tyltyl can't remember her...

Hi Michael thanks for that and for spotting the lines for Roselle I can let the reader know when one comes along.

Here's Tyltyl's lines in Act 4:

Might it make sense to combine the roles of The Phantom in Act 4 and Joy in Act 5, so that they are read by the same person? They are the same character, and are listed as synonyms in the list of characters at the beginning of the Project Gutenberg text.

It has been a lot of fun recording for this project! It was my first time portraying the protagonist of a play. I look forward to listening to the finished product when it goes live!
