Oh, I recognize a nudge in the right direction when I receive one. (Thank you dear, I got the message. Cough, cough, wince. Just another cracked rib I think.) Cockney it is.
I'm not that bad !

Only the dark, dark night shows to my eyes the stars;
After the clangor of organ majestic, or chorus, or perfect band,
Silent, athwart my soul, moves the symphony true."

Sonia and Todd,

Sorry for all the extra work. Thanks for your patience. I didn't really know if the Cockney was just sooo far in 'left field' that it would be 'acceptable'.

I will do better next time: only give one  .

Sometime you will have to find "The Playgoers" in one of the One Act Collections and listen for the parlourmaid....

Thanks, Todd

Now you REALLY have to listen to it. I have fond memories of this play. I think we all had such fun with our roles, and the end result was so fun to listen to! :9:

thanks Matthew, a wonderful performance for the little hero. He's quite a big mouth on him though  Humility seems not to be in his vocabulary. Well done, and nothing missing as far as I can detect. The script is quite challenging.

I'll mark Acts 2 and 3 already PL ok.

Just a small edit for Act 1 please:

> for the voice credit could you add: "Tom Thumb, the Great ..." (let's not forget his full title of honour  )

thanks

here's your loving and gentle Queen Dollallolla (don't you dare call me Dolly  )

Still sober in the first act (one needs to be sober to plot vengeance - the evil laugh at the end is right out of Maleficent) but showing some signs of hangover at the beginning of Act 3. Well it was a rough night, is all I can say to my defense.

Oh and I hope you like my dying groan and can find a use for it. :9: ("kills the Queen" would be an appropriate spot 8-) )

I guess I'll have to take the blame since I selected the play. But then I'm a naive soul, who didn't know I was speaking double entendres in the Congreve....

Thanks, Todd
