Just a reminder you have this outstanding PL-note from Act 2

Sholto Act 2
- 3:38 “Third [fox-trot] after we get there.” It’s actually a “t” at the beginning making it “tox-trot.” I have no idea what either of these words mean but that’s what it says in the source text.
It’s PL time! Here’s Julia Cragworthy Act 1, and Gerda Act 2. Also note that Sholto Act 2 and Julia Cragworthy Act 2 are PL OK!
Julia Cragworthy Act 1
This section only has pronunciation errors. I’m not sure if pronunciation is to be disregarded but here they are anyway.
- 0:25 “Leicestershire” is an interesting looking word, no surprise if you mess it up. It’s pronounced LEH-STER-SHY-ER. I did a quick web search and found that if you’re British the SHY-ER is actually more of just a SHUH. Make of that what you will.
- 2:32 “Leicester” is pronounced like Lester, LEH-STER. Seems pretty congruent with the previous word.
- 3:00 “Ripping” has 2 P’s, meaning the first part is pronounced like “tip.” You said something more like “riping,” as in “ripe.”
- Read past Gerda Act 2 for a funny story regarding this!
Gerda Act 2
- 6:40 “Rows” is pronounced like “rose.” You said something more like “rouse” with an “ow” sound.
- 9:25 You used the Spanish word fiesta. The word in the source text is festa, which is either Italian or Portuguese (one of the two). It’s actually pronounced like FEH-STUH. I’m assuming it’s Italian because the character Sholto speaks Italian when he gets worked up.
Funny Story
So in middle school I actually thought that “Gloucester” was pronounced like GLAH-OW-CHEST-ER, when it’s actually more like GLO-STER. I had no idea and I swore I heard it pronounced the way I thought it was before. Just a funny connection I made when I saw you had to read the word “Leicestershire.”

Sorry, but when you uploaded the Act 2 corrections, you uploaded them to the Act 3 file name. I reuploaded Act 2 to the correct file name, but because Act 3 was overwritten it is no longer there. Can you please reupload Act 3?

Between illnesses, work, and vacation, May wasn't my best Librivox month. But I'm back and ready to do some more recording, editing, and PLing!

This has been fixed, the file name was just changed on the system and your original file was still there!

This one seems to have stalled.
Is there anything I can do to help it along?
We’re just waiting for the final couple of roles to be finished, and then I’ll PL all of the final Act files once they’re edited together. Speaking of, I’ll PL Act 3 and the other roles very soon!
One missing line in Act 2.
(2:08) "How did you know?"
Great job with Priscilla! She is quite the character!
Reminder you have this one missing line from your role of Priscilla Hartleberry!
I’m bumping this up to the top of the feed. This should be the last role needed before the full Acts are ready to be PL’d. Julia Cragworthy Act 1 is PL OK!

Thanks superk! With Julia PL-OK, I'm going to work on editing Act 1. Just waiting for that missing line from Act 2 and then this project should zip to the finish line.
