Let me know if you need changes! I'm recording with the inbuilt mic on the computer, so I'm not quite happy with the quality. I hope you don't mind Candace's slight lisp!
Somehow recordings always bring it out more than in RL.

Narrator, Chronicle 9, ready for Spot PL:Twinkle88 wrote: ↑October 29th, 2020, 5:11 pmPL notes for Narrator Chronicle Nine:
@ 11:55 Misread word: "...who ushered him tremblingly into the sickroom..."
("Trembling" instead of "tremblingly" makes it sound as though the parson is the one trembling instead of Clara Belle, I believe.)
@ 8:21 Pause needed: "...not so much a vicious past, in his own generous estimation of it, as a [pause here] one."
(Could you re-read this sentence with a space in it this time? I'm going to assign the words "thunderin' foolish" to Abner -- sorry I didn't catch this sooner!).
Great reading!(Whew! What a ride!

Here's the final chapter, Narrator Chronicle 11:
https://librivox.org/uploads/mightyfelix/newchronicles_11_narrator.mp3

I didn't proof listen to the entire chapter at once like I usually do, but in spurts as I was editing -- I hope I didn't miss anything. The narrator speaks entirely too much in this last chronicle, in my humble opinion (people will get tired of my voice).
Happy Reading and Happy Holidays!
