Update:
I'm working on chapter 11. I did about halfway last week, tried to find the file again and couldn't. I guess I didn't save it.

So I'm starting over again and hope to have it in this week, as it's my spring break and I'll have more time to work.

PL notes for Chapter 7:

@ 38:07 The pause seems just a little bit too long. Could you maybe trim this down to three seconds?

@ 14:30 Repeat: "...mebbe I won't be so fraid of gettin' hooked and scrunched, because she'll know she's mine, and she'll go better." (Is it possible to cleanly cut this out? If not, that's okay.)

It sounded okay at the time, but editing my own voice into the chapter, I realized I was pretty off-key.

Also- do you know, Twinkle, did this author ever write a third Rebecca book? It's unfinished! I wanted Rebecca to fall in love too

No, I don't think Kate Douglas Wiggin wrote any sequels. There is, however, a sequel written by her nephew, Eric Wiggin -- Rebecca Returns to Sunnybrook. Guess he felt sorry for all the readers left hanging after reading New Chronicles.

@ 39:07 Pause seems just a tiny bit too long. Could you trim it down to three seconds (sorry to be nitpitcky...

)?

@ 38:59-39:07 Line seems just a LITTLE too quiet: "and oh, I wonder, I wonder, shall I be afraid to leave it, if anybody ever comes to carry me out to sea!" (Could you amplify this maybe a decibel or two?)

@ 38:54-56 Line seems too quiet: "I am all alone in the little harbor." (Could you amplify this maybe two or three decibels? It sounds quite soft compared to the narration.)

@ 38:34-37 Line seems too quiet: "Emmy has sailed away and I am all alone in the little harbor." (Could you amplify this maybe two or three decibels?)

@ 37:36-45 Line seems just a LITTLE too quiet: "Abijah has laid the ghost of his father and redeemed the memory of his mother, for no one will dare say again that Abbie Flagg's son could never amount to anything!" (Could you amplify this maybe a decibel or two?)

@ 37:32-34 Line seems too quiet: "Not all the heroes go to the wars." (Could you amplify this maybe two or three decibels?)

@ 12:15 Could you trim out this longish pause so it sounds more like an interruption? "'...I'm sure of that; it'll be to Mrs.——-' 'Don't!' cried Rebecca impetuously..."
