oh wow, yes POMPOUS is the word that describes this performance  Alexander is quite full of himself (I think this is quite accurate to the real Alexander's character  )

A wonderful performance, highly dramatic and perfectly delivered. Nothing missing as far as I can see. All PL ok. Thank you so much, and I hope I hear you in other plays soon. :)

Sonia,

Oh, my! You have me blushing. Thank you so much for the kind words. I've been absent from Librivox for a few years (been doing my voice acting at Online Stage and Voices of Today) and was hesitant to tackle the role, but it turned out to be much fun. :D

Axiana ready for PL:
awesome performance Mattea :9:  Wow Axiana really has fire in her blood, she is a right Lady Macbeth in the beginning and the fiercest opponent Alexander has here. Quite a dream role and you did it so well. I'm speechless. PL ok for all acts. Thank you so much !

Taxiles remaining acts ready for PL
excellent job till the end, Ethan. Taxiles has a bit of a sad lot in this play, scorned by the woman he loves :( well, you played him with the needed pathos.

Acts 2 and 4 already PL ok.

One PL note for Act 3 though:

> at 1:03: (p. 93) you skipped a line: "nor chains; Better does Alexander know what's due to queens"

thanks !

Stage directions perfect. What a difference from Pinero's minutely detailed instructions to the actors!
