I've marked as PL OK :D
Yay! One more thing off my bucket list! :D (okay, this wasn't really on my bucket list, but maybe I'll add it, just to check it off... ).

Thanks again, Ashleigh!

I have marked bess 21 as PL OK as the 'funky noise' mentioned in previous PL notes is just a breath and it can be easily avoided in editing :)

Thank you Ashleigh and TJ!
I agree with you, Ashleigh, about the pl note for Tommy chp 7. I don’t think it makes a lot of difference
Thanks you guys!
TJ, please tell Jasmin from me that we loved having her on our project and hope we can work with her again soon. (Same to you!)

I can read Nat Blake if you still need someone. Little Men is a lovely book to start with as my first dramatic reading on librivox.

This was really confusing, but I think I found what needed correction, so let's see if this will get me out of the red.

Thanks, Michelle! I’ll get these in the Magic Window right after I finish school.

ETA: Magic Window updated, sorry for the delay. I've also moved the PL OK characters down below the chapter text links.

Nat chapter 1:

This is PL OK but please see general notes at the end of this post, which applies to chapters 3 - 7

Chapter 3:

1:08 in the phrase 'how do you get these things' it sounds like the 's' got cut off of 'things'

Chapter 4:

PL OK.

Chapter 6:

0:48 'and he's' is a little hard to hear in the line 'he hasn't got any folks, and he's poor,'

Chapter 7:
PL OK

General notes:
Some lines are quite close together. I think generally the aim is 4 or 5 secs between lines. It makes editing easier. (and proof listening too, it's a little hard to keep up) Could you please go through your files and make sure this silence is between each line. If not, you can edit some in in places where it's needed. Usually i would mark each instance but there is quite a lot. For future 'acts' you can make sure these are in before you upload :D

Here are chapters 9, 11, 14, & 15 for Nat Blake.

Also there is an error in chapter 9, page 13 of the script. Part of the last line on the page highlighted as Nat is actually the Narrator's.

I am not sure if I was supposed to do something specific in regards to recording the lines shared with other characters. They are currently just recorded like all the solo lines were.

I believe that you're correct in reading the shared lines just as solo lines are, but i will leave Rachel or Campbell to clarify that :D

9 - 11 are PL OK

Chapter 14:
2:01 You might like to re-read 'and knock folks round sometimes' as i heard 'and knocks folks round sometime'

15 is PL OK :D

Yes, for the most part that is correct. One thing to keep in mind is sometimes in DRs there are long group lines, often songs or rhythmic. In that case, the BC will usually post a link in the first post with either them or somebody else as the base track. In that case, you are expected to listen to it to learn the tune (if it's a song with singing) or the rhythm. Then, it is best to listen to this with headphones while recording to match the rhythm and pacing of the demo. I know in this book, in Chapter 21 there is a song with a case like this. But for short lines, and longer ones with no demo listed, just reading them as solo is exactly what you should be doing. Nice work!
