will PL tomorrow, this is going to be interesting.
Meanwhile I recorded my stage directions as well to give you an early start. All three acts recorded, but only Act 1 groomed so far. The rest will come over the weekend.

Recording time: 6:37 min.
Hope I didn't miss too many, they were indeed sneakily hidden.

wow, now this was a performance quite remote from your "butt-of-the-jokes-underdog" (your words ) You finally grabbed a role to live out this darker side of yours And it was an excellent job, each time the demon shows his real feelings in asides you gave me the creeps with your chilling tone of voice. (loved it !)
Now I'm afraid you will take a liking to this role and give me hell in the next play (instead of the other way around )
So wonderful performance, but I found a few small things to edit:
for Act 1:
> at 4:51: How can I deny so clear, [They rise.] So conclusive a position? – since there will be stage directions in between, maybe you want to make a longer pause in the speech. But this is optional, since you are the editor anyway, so it's for your own convenience only I'll mark this one PL ok already.
for Act 2:
> at about 13:17: missed line: "Is this she whom you adore?"
for Act 3:
> at 9:56: "be that thy comfort" – you say "thou", which is not exactly the same thing
All in all super. You're a worthy demon !
Thanks
Sonia
quite a shorter performance than the demon I just listened to, but excellently acted out as well. Thank you so much, Leanne ! PL ok, naturally.leanneyauyau wrote: ↑November 13th, 2019, 10:33 amhttps://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/wonderworkingmagician_skeleton_3_128kb.mp3

Oh, you are in big trouble, mere mortal!
Ah, that is better. All in all super. You're a worthy demon !
(Whilest my alter ego is asleep or playing in his bubbling lava pools or something, I shall make the suggested corrections.)
Thanks, Todd
be gentle, mighty demon (and wise - for your next Sir Randle-impersonation will be around the corner, and you would want to be in my good graces then )

I really hope you are going to play nice with Cyprian. He's a sincere young person with a vulnerable streak.Kitty wrote: ↑November 14th, 2019, 5:55 ambe gentle, mighty demon (and wise - for your next Sir Randle-impersonation will be around the corner, and you would want to be in my good graces then  )

The corrections have been made whilst my alter ego was doing something culinary over at the lava rocks.....
Thanks, Todd
