PL notes for Jack:

Chapter 14:
- Misread word and repeat @ 0:10: "Don't squeeze the breath out of me, please."
- Repeat @ 5:27: "There's one thing I like better, though I'd be very sorry to lose my report."

Chapter 15:
- Missing word @ 4:51: "And I'll teach you to swim, and roll you over the beach, and get sea-weed and shells, and no end of nice things, and we'll all come home as strong as lions." (Leaving the "you" out changes the meaning, as he's referring to pushing Jill around in a wheelchair, I believe.)

Chapter 20:
- The song @ 4:28 needs to be recorded with a similar timing to the sing-along version linked in the script. Next time, wear headphones and listen to the sing-along version while you record, singing along with it.

Also, at least one of your recordings needs an intro at the beginning of it, and so far none of them have one. Please add it to at least one of the chapters.

Since Jill Chapter 7 is all that's needed for Chapter 7 to be edited, I'll go ahead and PL it.

.
Thank you, but I will continue to PL anything that is over two weeks old. Not to sound like a smart aleck, but don't forget this goes along with the rule I set in the past, as well as the one you set for yourself previously :) :

Yay! Except for that one Jack line that has a note... I can still get started and just put that line in when it is fixed.

Oh, shoot, I typed that in the Magic Window wrong. Jack Chapter 7 is actually PL OK, I believe... but I'll double check.

- Audio glitch and pause @ 4:10: "Look here, you just trundle me into my den, please, I'm going to have a nap, it's so dull to-day I don't feel like doing much,"
I found this note in the thread, is it incorrect?

Oh. I see that now. Sorry!

It's up to you if you want to get started on it, but I'll take the "Ready to Edit" note off that chapter.

ej400 wrote: March 11th, 2020, 10:19 am Another thing is, how do you make things in bold [bold] text in the MW? I've always wondered how people make things highlighted too. That why I have typically only been marking things PL OK, or See PL notes and not highlighting the number.

Anyway, thanks again! :D
To make things bold in an MW, you put and around the text.
To make things highlighted in, for example, green, you put and around the text.

ej400 wrote: March 11th, 2020, 11:41 am Does the background noise seem OK by the way? I'm using my computer to record from audacity and wanted to make sure it wasn't picking up too much.
The level of background noise is very low. Not a problem at all.

That's true. I will stick to that rule.

Oh cool, thank you for teaching me how. I've been wondering for probably 5 years now, just never asked

Oh good. That was the one thing I was worried most about. There was also just so much traffic driving by on the road this morning (it's an in town road, and usually not busy at all). Today was like garbage day, school, 5 or six trains in 4 hours, at least 20 cars and loud pickup trucks..... and usually I only hear 5 vehicles max. Some people were out to screw my recordings up

Oh, my!! What a recording nightmare! I *ahem* sometimes get a little irritated when there’s background noise disrupting my recording session that’s out of my control.

But fortunately, your recordings still sounded fine in spite of the background activities. :)
