Thanks about the text in Chapter 4. I have that fixed now in Major's colors.

Chapter 5 PL OK!

01:09 - David, Chapter 6

07:41 - David, Chapter 7

By the way, I was wondering if you could comment on my audio sound quality? I've been playing around with some features in Audacity as I get more familiar with the program, and trying to figure to what extent its working. My headphones aren't the clearest, so its hard for me track exactly how much distortion or noise pollution there is.

Chapter 6 PL OK!

Chapter 7

00:37 repeat of "two more drinking fountains"
01:13 missing "the fact"
01:20 missing "I'm for all there is in it—if at all."
06:04 it's "blood dive" (not "blood drive") :) that's probably what I would have said on accident too, and I really have no idea what he's talking about there...

As far as audio quality, it's sounding great! I don't hear any background noise and you don't sound distorted. I have to say sometimes I still feel like a newbie myself, and I'm not an expert by any stretch of the imagination. I use GarageBand myself, but I know how it is about headphones. Mine are developing a short in the cord.

No, I haven't forgotten about this project. Dec was just a bit more intense than I had anticipated. But, I'll do my best to get these chapters turned in quickly. Here is Chapter one for the Major.

https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/andrewtheglad_major_1_128kb.mp3 14:42
Thank you. That's perfectly OK. There's still some roles not even assigned yet. :) I'll PL it later today.
Don't feel rushed.

EDIT: Here's some small words to fix:

00:10 "the" decoction (not "every")
00:22 "and" an excitement (not "as")
00:43 "And" did it (not "but")
00:51 "and" has written (not "with")
03:27 "an" affair (not "the")
08:09 "your" hen roost (not "the")
09:21 "brought" (not "bought")
13:16 "she" pays (not "he")

Sorry :P I did leave out one or two that didn't make any difference in the meaning of the text.
Well, that threw me for a loop.

Here is the corrected file. I think the time stamps are pretty much the same.

I have through Chapter 6 recorded and promise you better editing before I submit them.

Thank you! Goodness, and I blasted you with that on Christmas day, too. What a present. Shame on me.

Chapter 1 for the Major is PL OK! I'll be starting in on editing today.

Thanks.
Chapter 8 PL OK!

Chapter 9:
01:53 - "corn-pone" should rhyme with "bone"

Chapter 10:

00:29 - "with a rip"

00:54 - "I wish I could come over"

01:03 - "No, you don't, beautiful" - could you try it a little different? Maybe kind of jokingly, like "Oh no you don't!", hmmm or just leave me two or three takes and I'll choose. :) Sorry, I'm not sure I explained that well.

01:32 - "think double" (not "drink" double) although maybe he will want to do that too! LOL

Corrections to 9 and 10:

I legit thought it was drink! Stereotype of politicians on election night, I guess?

I left you three takes on the ""No, you don't, beautiful" lines. Hopefully one of them is what you're after? I don't mind the stylistic feedback, I appreciate you for asking!

That was a hard one, but it's PL OK!

Actually for DR parts, we don't really need the time for the files since it will be edited in. I only have to post the final times for the chapters.

I've always wondered about whether to round up or down myself. ?? I don't know.
