I have a tin roof, so I can’t record when it rains either!

I hope I caught a quiet enough pause in the rain.

Thanks Peter, but please don't think that I am rushing you.

I can only do so much recording because I have nothing else to do, other than read
books and watch Netflix!

I understand the rain prob - I have a flat roof myself - my bedroom is an extension.

Sometimes I am convinced that the Magpies up there are playing football!

Hello Beth,

I've had a listen to Peter's Holmes for section 9, and am
happy to PL OK it, if you don't mind.

Feel free to double check!

Andrew :)

At 41:06 there is an odd pause in the middle of one of Holmes’ speeches that would be better closed up. Otherwise PL OK!

Thanks Beth!

(Thought I'd fixed that - must have forgotten to export it!)

Will fix.

Hello Beth,

After much thought, I have decided to take a break from this.

There is no animosity or resentement behind this decision, I just think that it would
be a good idea to allow time for other people to catch up.

I want to work on my own novel - I have been prevaricating for too long - so I
am taking a break from LibriVox. This is not a permanant thing - just a break!

I had hoped to have some help, but obviously that ain't gonna happen...

So, I'll keep watching the posts, and I shall put in the good work whenever material becomes available!

Lotsaluv,

Andrew :)

Section 9 is now PL OK!

Have a good rest, and I'll see you when the other Sections are fully recorded!

Here's Holmes for story 4, the Boscombe Valley Mystery

https://librivox.org/uploads/kathrinee/sherlockholmes_holmes_04_128kb.mp3
(29.28)

I've left in one small laugh at 11.18 ... use it or not as you choose:
Holmes laughed softly to himself and stretched himself out upon the cushioned seat.

It's that man again! I can't seem to keep away!

Had a noisy house the last couple of days, both my bro's were home... We have thin walls - and
they don't believe in headphones! (Basically, my recording plans went out the window...)

Anyway - thrilled to see/hear Peter's latest contribution - this is one of my fave stories in the anthology.

If you don't mind , Beth, I am happy to PL OK this. (Almost word perfect - I am green with envy at
such a professional performance! There are a couple of very minor glitches, which I am confidant that
I can fix in the edit - so I don't think we need to ask Peter for any corrections!)

I am really looking forward to putting this one to bed - I wasn't planning to sleep tonight anyway!

Peter - Kudos!
