Thanks Andrew! So glad we get to hear it after all that work!

As Andrew is resigning from the project I will take over as official BC and we will advertise for a new editor and orphan the remaining chapters of Watson.

Please let me know if I have done something wrong with the upload...

It took two days to edit!

Here's Holmes for story seven, the Blue Carbuncle:

https://librivox.org/uploads/kathrinee/sherlockholmes_holmes_07_128kb.mp3

(29.24)

I've added two specks of laughter:

at 0.32 "No, no. No crime." said Sherlock Holmes, laughing.
and at 7.14 Sherlock Holmes laughed. "Here is the foresight,"

****
Story eight, the speckled band:
https://librivox.org/uploads/kathrinee/sherlockholmes_holmes_08_128kb.mp3

(34.44)

****
I had problems mis-labelling the sound files (I got the two recordings mixed up), but the latest uploads are correct.

Here's Holmes for story 10, the noble bachelor:

https://librivox.org/uploads/kathrinee/sherlockholmes_holmes_10_128kb.mp3
(21.41)

I've added a little laughter at 11.59 "Sherlock Holmes leaned back in his chair and laughed heartily."
and at 13.12 "Very good, Lestrade," said Holmes, laughing.

I've left a gap at 17.07 between the end of one conversation and the start of a different one.

Holmes Story 7 is PL OK!

I’m going to have slow down PLing over Christmas as I’ll be away with limited access, but I’m still contactable.

I'm editing Holmes for story 11, The Beryl Coronet. There's a slight highlighting error.
"Then I will." Holmes suddenly bent his strength upon it, but without result. "I feel it give a little," said he ...
.

The "said he" belongs to the narrator, but is highlit for Holmes.

... and here's the last Holmes recording (story 12, Copper Beeches): https://librivox.org/uploads/kathrinee/sherlockholmes_holmes_12_128kb.mp3

(16.01)

**** There's another slight highlighting error.
"There is a train at half-past nine," said I ..... "It is due at Winchester at 11:30."
"at 11:30" is highlit for Holmes to read ... it should be un-highlit, for Watson.

Hello Everybodypepes,

I hope that those of you who celebrate the Festive Season had a good one!

Beth, here is the corrected upload of section 6.

https://librivox.org/uploads/kathrinee/sherlockholmes_06_doyle_128kb.mp3

Hopefully you will be able to access it this time - and check it for me!

If it is any help, I am happy to edit section 7, if nobody else has stepped up yet.

In fact, it is only the recording that I no longer have any confidence in, so once you have found a replacement Watson,
if you can't find anyone else to do the edits - gis' a shout!

(I find it quite therapeutic!)

Live long and Prosper,

Andrew

Section 6 is PL OK!

This one had more characters than usual, but I think all the voices work well!

Yes, if you feel up to it I think Section 7 is ready to edit!
