FAB. 8-)
Thanks for understanding.

I would like to claim the role of Ellen.

(I've read all of the forum posts). I have the time to do this part. I have looked at the text. I feel very excited that I might get the chance to do this.

Hi there and welcome to this project!

Well, if you did all the legwork beforehand, I guess I HAVE to let you read Ellen, no? The little sister, wait: cousin is all yours!

As you've read the thread, you already know about the intro with your name and to leave spaces between your lines (i.e., when Charlotte or Momma are speaking).
The only thing that is not straightforward in a DR is the naming of the files: please use as the number in your file the final section number (which can be found further down). So, your very first file (even though right now it's section 30) should be named: artist_ellen_01.mp3.

If you have questions, let me know! Have fun with your lessons, Ellen. :D
Cheers, Ava.

My reading test has been okayed! And it can just go under my real name Nan Clegg in the catalogue.

N.B. re. all those criticisms in the 1st couple of minutes:
It's not my fault!
Believe me, I nearly "forgot" to record that part of the dialogue.
Charlotte can be a piece of work.

Louise, I have listened to the next two installments of Charlotte - they are PL OK! Well done!

However, both have the wrong bit rate - could you please re-export them with the required 128kb and then upload again? Thanks.

I'm looking forward to hearing more of Charlotte. :D

Unfortunately I have to unclaim the role of Ellen.
I have recorded some of it and liked it but I can't complete it on time. I was at a place a while back where the internet is very slow/not working and I am going back there tomorrow.
Sorry.

If the deadline is the only thing that's problematic, then you shouldn't worry. As long as you're steadily uploading, you don't need to complete everything within the two months. The deadline is meant for standard projects, not DRs with many more sections per reader like this one.

Just let me know.

I'd be happy to offer DPL services if still needed. This will be my first time DPLing a dramatic reading, but I'm excited to listen to this work!
