I tried a few different inflections on my pleas for Mercurial defense; hopefully that gives you what you need.
brilliant, Steve  I knew you'd fit right in here. I loved the Perfumer's character, he is a mixture of posh and a bit of arrogance in his trade. And to get your mouth say all these ingredients at such a speed was a feat  And thanks also for the Mercury-plea samples, Todd will have enough to join in the mix with those. Especially the last one sounded pretty desperate

Your first ever drama role is PL ok. Thank you so much for helping out here. And I hope you loved it enough so I can soon hear you in another role. :9:

super, thank you, Sandra :9:

Actually, I noticed that I don't have a role in Act 5 either, so I will help out with the Barber here ! I love to beg Mercury for help too

Hesperus act 5

https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/cynthiasrevels_hesperus_5.mp3

This file contains two versions, one recited and one sung. Todd may choose which to use. The tune of the sung version is improvised.

awww you knew I would love the song. It sounds almost like a Christmas tune, really well done, Alan, thank you so much. But even as poem, it's well recited, with a sort of underlying tune. Both are excellent, but of course I personally am rooting for the song.

PL ok, definitely

 definitely not the huge role you were used to in Dr Johnson ;) but I like your portrayal of Cos. You have a certain easy-going eagerness in your voice here, it was funny to listen to. Perfectly PL ok and I wish he had more to say.

Thanks

Yes, quite the extreme opposite, but we must all play our parts, however small, as they come to us and know that we are a necessary thread in the fabric that is the play. Or some such.
