I guess I forgot to claim the remaining sections for Aunt Priscilla. Those would be as follows:

Sections: 56, 58, 60, 61, 62, 66, 67, 68, 69, 71, 72, 74 and 76.

Hope this clears up any confusion.

Thanks.
Those sections are for me. They are for the final edited chapters. :D

Chapter 3 is spot check PL OK. Chapters 8, 9, and 13 are all PL OK. :D

Oh, ok. I wasn't sure. When I originally signed up I thought I was asked to select all the sections that Aunt Priscilla was listed as being in. Wow, seems like you've got so much to do! I get the feeling that this is going to turn out really well. Thanks for having me along for the ride. I'm really enjoying it.

Hi Linny!

I am working on recording more of Betty's lines and noticed a possible mistake. In Chapter 9, the very first line on page 7 says it is for Betty but it seems like it belongs to Mrs. Leverett. Would double check it for me?

The line starts with: "Oh, if 'Lecty was ill-"

Thanks so much!

Found one more line that may contain something I'm not supposed to say.

Chapter 22, page 2, last line for Betty:
BETTY LEVERETT: "You know I have settled to be the old maid aunt," she returned. "But I am
going to have a good young time first. And, mother, you can hardly realize what a fine,
generous, broad-minded man Mat King has made."
Am I correct in thinking "she returned" is for the narrator?

I know the documents can't be edited but I just wanted to bring it to your attention. Thanks so much!

Yes, DRs are a TON of work! Many don't think they are worth it but for the readers who enjoy acting and doing characterization they are lots of fun. I'm glad you are enjoying the process. :D

Jenn,
Thank you for bringing these to my attention. That's a big help. It's always daunting to find the error in the middle of editing.

Chapter 9
1:15 missing text - And it is not a hundred years ago either. There was no cloth to be had, and Manufactory House was established."

Chapter 9: I don't have a timestamp for you. Please add to the end of the file.
"Oh, if 'Lecty was ill—but you know, Aunt Priscilla, they keep a man beside the girl, and it seems to me she is always having a nurse when the children are ailing, or a woman in to sew, or some extra help. She doesn't need Betty, and it seems as if I did."

Chapter 10
1:28 word change - Mr. Eastman thought likely he'd find someone coming right back from Springfield, and I charged Betty to send if she could. I'm glad there has been no snow so far."
I hear changed

Chapter 13
0:16 missing text - MRS. LEVERETT: "Still it isn't wise to put too much on her,"

Chapters 1-8, 11-12, 14-16, 22-23 are all PL OK!

I'm uploading the chapters, but Chapter 13 is already correct unless there's something else missing.

Chapter 1 Narrator

https://librivox.org/uploads/maryannspiegel/littlegirl_narrator_001_128kb.mp3
Hello Kevin,
Sorry for the delayed PL. I'm not sure where yesterday went.

Really good job on chapter 1. There are a couple of editing errors and then a problem I created.

0:18 missing text (This one is my fault. I forgot to remind you.) - cast list. narrated by [your voice credit]. Additional parts read by:

3:34 repeat - Priscilla would have enjoyed a little foolish love-making, and she had a carnal hankering for fine gowns; and, oh, how she did long to dance in her youth, when she was slim and light-footed!

9:04 repeat - The Lincolnshire ladies were too old to have the care and rearing of a child, so Mr. Winthrop Adams had sent by Captain Grier to bring over the little girl.
