The Tale of the Pie and the Patty Pan.
Hello Todd,
I may have got ahead of myself again, but I went ahead and PL OK'd Dr. Maggotty for myself - totally forgetting that this is Elizabby's baby!
I have very little else to do, so the chance to put this one to bed was irresistable!
If Elizabby has no objections, the final edit is ready to be uploaded.

I have absolutely nothing in this world but time - so I believe I should invest it wisely...
That’s fine! The editor more or less has to listen to such short parts anyway, and you just PLed my Ribby too.
Go ahead and upload the final edit and I’ll PL it - for the final file the filenames all need to match so please watch the format carefully. It’s in the MW if you need to check it.

- the sound for the first 30seconds or so seems softer than the rest, then it suddenly gets louder just after the narration proper starts. Can you check the volume of this part compared with the rest please? Checker only tells the overall volume.
- the voice credit for Duchess doesn’t match the rest, please remove the location details and just leave the name.
Thanks for editing! How did you find it?

Thanks Beth, I shall attend to those issues on the morrow!
How did I find it? I totally enjoyed putting all this together, and seeing how everyone's voices
worked against one another! (Personally - I think that all the readers did a wonderful job! - except
myself of course - one can take self-worship a little too far!)
In terms of the credits matching - would you like me to remove 'a cat', and 'a magpie' from the intro also? (Cousin Tabitha and Dr. Maggotty.)
On a (somewhat) related issue - with 'The Tale of the Dying Detective' - could you edit my credit to remove 'Johhny English AKA', if you have not
already done so, please? (I am not at all happy with that earlier recording, so if you ever decide to do another Sherlock Holmes dramatisation,
please allow me to volunteer in advance for Doctor Watson. I would love to do it properly!)

No I think it is helpful to know that the characters are a cat and a magpie, so those can stay - the main characters are described in the text so it doesn’t matter so much about them.
Yes I already edited your voice credit to say just Andrew Nixon.
I was planning to do a full length production of “Lady Windemere’s Fan“ but I’ve lost my editor. If you like editing now that you’ve done some, we can talk about a launch date for that project! The editor was going to read the main guy, so that role is open to you if you want it.

Hello Beth,
I checked the first 30s against a 30s sample from later on. (Couldn't actually hear any
difference myself - but I am slightly hard of hearing!)
Anyhow, the first 30 read 87db, and the second sample 86.2.
I'm not entirely sure what to do about that. Would you like me to
increase the volume anyway?
Duchess' credit altered as requested!
Best,
Andrew

It might have been a problem with my playback - there was a sound spike earlier, but it seems to have gone now.
So if you’ve made that one change to the voice credit then you are good to reupload! I think this will be the first story completed in this collection!
