Nita Trevenna from Act 2 is ready for PL. Length is 1:50.
https://librivox.org/uploads/toddhw/mindthepaintgirl_nitatrevenna_2_128kb.mp3
(Sneak peek is at https://instaud.io/3DOO .)

Feedback is, as always, most welcome. In particular, is it too noisy? My environment is much quieter now (peaks at -51 dB); I'm hoping to get a better sound if I forgo the noise filter.

Thanks for volunteering, everyone!

a wonderful job, Lex, and I really have to marvel at the almost uncanny ability you have to change your vocal range so much. It was really amazingly well done. Also: nothing missing, so I can mark this file PL ok immediately. 8-) Thanks for participating here, and I hope to hear you soon again.

As for the noise, it didn't strike me as too disturbing. Nothing to change there.

of course you may, glad to have you in here as well, Alan :9: Looking forward to this ! Please remember to include some of the "Men" lines (when appropriate that Morris would be in the group)

Definitely! I was away from home (and my mic) and just got back today, so I'll get those fixed soon. This was just editing backlog ;)

well you had a big sobbing scene here, Foon  so many different versions of "oh" I was hearing just now. And I absolutely loved to hear you muffled by a pillow. Did you really mumble into a pillow there for effect ? It sounds great, but is still easy to understand.

I have a few small corrections to note:

> at 0:04: “Either; I don’t care.” – you forgot “either”

> at 10:26: if I may make a pronunciation suggestion here: the country Rhodesia has the middle syllable voiced as well: so Rho-dee-sian, not Road-sian (later in the act you pronounced it correctly)

> at 11:11: “they would – they would” – I think the initial “they” is cut off by mistake

> at 11:27-11:29: repeat of “Oh”, do you have any preference ? otherwise you can cut these out, as they are repeated a bit further

excellent job ! Thanks. This was really a big role.

this is absolutely great, Luigi...I mean, Pier.  I'm thrilled to have the genuine Italian accent here for this role, so it's wonderful that you offered for this part. And you play an absolutely good-humoured and charming maître d'hôtel here. Also love the little chuckles here and there. Makes it all very lively.

No lines missing, all perfect ! PL ok.

Excellent first role in a play. Hopefully more to come. 8-)

Thanks
