I've been thinking of making the Teen and Boy roles (Phillip, Geoffrey, Jack, Dicky) gender neutral.
I usually ask for young boys/teens to be read by women - there's more women here anyway, and it sounds better (IMO) than having a supposedly little boy read by someone who sounds like he weighs over 120kgs!

Can I play the grandfather or scott burton?
You may certainly have them both, if you would like. They are in separate chapters, so do not overlap. :) Let me know which ones...

I think so, too. Geoffrey is in college, though, so I was kind of hoping for a young man to read at least him. But if not, that's ok.

Hello! Is casting gender neutral? If so can I read Philip Noble? If not I can take Polly Oliver.

Yes! That would be great. Please take Philip. :)

I need to add it to the first post, but yes, casting will be gender neutral...

Quick question... in the script where you have a line that says something like 'exclaimed the boys', with different exclamations in different colors, are we supposed to read all the exclamations or only the ones in our colors?

If it is a rainbow sentence with each word a different color just read the whole sentence. Some phrases I divided up between boys with a few words in a certain color for each boy to read just that part, to avoid so much layering. Or if you tell me the chapter I’ll look it up.

Thanks! There's a few, but the one I'm most curious about is Chapter 10.

Just read only your color for that one.

I think I tried to also underline the Group rainbow phrases.
