Oh, this is such great news! :9: (I can't believe you PL'd this already!)

I caught myself reading MItis even a few times more than this, but obviously I missed even more ... :) You know, the M guys, can't tell them apart ...

I'll cut the extras out and find or record that missing line tonight.

Thank you, Sonia!

now this is an absolutely hilarious performance  I really love the sort of faux-scottish you're using here. You're an excellent rustic, Sandra.

PL ok and thanks so much for helping out.

I only had time this evening to record one act, so I hope I've struck the "right" tone with Carlo. It's... a little different than what I usually do LOL.

this is brilliant, Tomas !!!! When I heard your first line I had a huge grin plastered on my face when I heard the Italian accent you did and my first thought was "I hope he can keep that up for this huge role" It's an awesome character you gave Carlo. And I marvel how you can speak so fast. (lots of retakes ? )

I had to laugh out loud at the sentence: "look villainously when he has done, like a one-headed Cerberus. — He does not hear me, I hope" you are so totally in character there.

Well the role is still a huge one...good luck with the rest. I am extremely looking forward to hearing all this. Especially the "cup" scene. (don't get drunk there)

You made an excellent call to choose this role. It may be different from your usual roles but it's definitely a highlight in your LV career.

Oh, did I mention it was PL ok ? It is.

Thank you for the encouragement, Sonia! :) I thought maybe I was giving it too much. I only have the character description to go by, and maybe he isn't that much of a fool? So I was taking something of a risk. I'm glad you liked it and will plug on, accent and all, to the end, hehe.

Here is Act 2: https://librivox.org/uploads/kitty/outofhumour_carlo_2_128kb.mp3

(P.S. I think the link for Act 1 in the MW is incomplete - might be a good idea to copy and paste it anew)
