Act 1 is also ready for final PL except for parts of the cast list.

Any volunteer? Fun to hear everybody sounding so wonderful all together.

Thanks, Todd

I enjoyed this, Todd! I had only read bits and pieces of the play, so most of this was new for me. I only had time for Act 1 tonight. (It's getting late.) In this act, there are two spots I have questions about.

13:40 I hear "Frances, lovingly" The script says louringly. (p 13) I think this is an alternate spelling of loweringly, and "lovingly" doesn't seem to fit with the threatening nature of Frances' next words.
15:08 When Sallie and Frances both repeat "mumps" (p 14), I get the impression from the script that they're speaking in unison, or if not in perfect unison, then still talking over each other. What do you think about combining their voices here?

Act 2 is wonderful! I can't think of a single improvement to be made to it. Definitely PL ok! :D

I fixed "louringly" at 13:40.

However, the "mumps" repeat was intentional. I did try stacking them, but I really preferred the "mumps" "mumps" "mumps" "what's mumps?" version. With Sallie and Frances stacked, Anne's "what's mumps" line is not so endearing.

Let me know if you can accept this or really want me to change it.

Thanks, Todd

(Doesn't everyone sound great together??!! Wow.)

If you'd rather their voices be consecutive for the mumps line, then I'm fine with it. You're the artistic director here. Act 1 can be marked PL ok! (Edit: Except for the cast list, of course.)

Yes, we've gotten a great cast together for this so far!

Here is the beggarman (act 3) - the script said a nasally voice. Hopefully, I didn't make his voice too nasally

I like the Beggarman voice. Can you also please add the song (chanting, not singing) on page 49; you can listen to the candlestick maker file if you wish cuz that is who I will be combining it with.

I like the Mrs Honeyman voice, too, and it is already PL OK.

Thanks, Todd

Do you need a DPL for the completed play or for the parts PL? I can do both/either since my parts have already been marked PL OK
