I can take Mrs. Emptage - will see if I can sound older than 20!
you'll be my sister once again in a Pinero play :9: yes, this time we have to play old cronies (sorry, I won't be very nice to you, but you can whine all you like throughout the play  )

NVM, Mrs Emptage has already been claimed, and I don't think there are any other female roles left.

I can't wait to be a dramatic old lady. Going to be channelling those Violet from Downton Abbey vibes...

Casting is gender neutral. Male, female - I don't care.

Thanks, Todd

I don't know what this old goat has done to rate his young trophy wife, but for what it's worth, here's the Bishop.

A six-pack short of a carton, as Sophie and Celeste Clabburn sang.

Cheers

Oh. Ooh. Ouch. I don't want to be an MP - I need to be an MD. I can see I'm going to go buy a package of bandages and antiseptic before I try talking with you. Maybe some chain mail and a bullet proof vest would be good too. No wonder we tried to keep you well away from town....

Pinero didn't really like you, did he? Great performance. PL OK. (Maybe you drop all this poisonous posturing and become your true natural soft and nurturing self in Act 2.... Ha.)

Thanks, Todd

 the bishop is excellent. How did you get your voice so hoarse ? And he sounds ancient  A bit wandering in his mind, is he ? Well, Harriet is there to take good care of you, so don't you worry a bit.

All the lines are in, but you forgot to say your name for the voice credit ;) you need to include “read by SotE” as well

Thanks for this entertaining listen.

don't be such a drama queen, Fletcher, I'm nowhere near as bad as that.

I think he rather had a fondness for such hands-on women. At the end of the play, Mrs Cloys is saving the day after all.

the Bishop knows that it's better for his health to agree with his wife. ;)

Oh ho! I think you are getting your comeuppance! Not from me, that is true, but still you are not the unstoppable force I have always feared....

PL OK

yes I might have been out of my depth with the Allinghams.

That part where Fletcher tries his "cunning" ( ) excuse that they are all there to rent the house is simply priceless  I can see Harriet Croys incredulously dropping her jaw and then rolling her eyes when her brother starts blundering through this scheme. Looking forward to that.

ah hi again. Trying out a Scottish accent this time after the cockney in Trelawny ? Have fun with Fraser (well, he's not that much fun, a bit of a stiff stick  )

Looking forward to your performance and thanks for participating :)
