So hard not to sing! I may have recorded too many chorus lines but figure that is better than the reverse.

Thanks, Todd
Thanks Todd, the Duke is all PL OK! There are some extra chorus lines, but I can always add them in if we need more men (as we often do!)

I hope I got it all and not the wrong Chorus bits - was a tad fiddly, but I see I'm not the only one to find it so :-)
Beautifully done! Was this really your first LV recording? Your sound production is awesome!

Giulia Act 1 is PL OK - you did a fabulous job finding all the fiddly chorus parts - Act 2 is much easier, as you only appear for the big dance scene and the finale, and you don't have any separate lines so it is just all the girls' chorus parts.

And that's the end of my computer time for today! Sorry I didn't get to the Gianetta files!

The MW should be fully updated though, so if your file is still not there I've missed it - please post again to remind me!

I hope I recorded the right chorus lines - everyone seems to be so confused about which to read XD

Yes, the formatting makes it confusing. I've listened to Gianetta Act 1 and there are quite a few corrections I'm afraid:

Right at the start there seems to be a problem with your editing software. There is a click and the first syllable of the first word after a pause is being chopped off, so "Thank" in "Thank you gallant gondolieri" and so on for the first three or four lines.

Also, can you please give me all the opening chorus for women - it just avoids having lots of female chorus members. So please start from "List and learn ye dainty roses" and also give me all the Italian "buon giourno" etc, right down to "My papa he keeps three horses". Some is tagged "girls" some "chorus".

Similarly, after "bridegroom and bride, knot that's insoluble" etc please give me the chorus lines for "when you marry merry maid"

@2:43 the first line is missing from the "Viva!" set (all four of you say all four lines, not one each).

And right at the end could I please have the chorus lines "For everyone who feels inclined..." etc and "Sing high, sing low..."

Gianetta Act 2:

Same as Act 1, please give me the opening chorus "Here we are at risk of our lives"

The second chorus is "Dance a ca-chu-ca".

@2:30 name is "Giusep-pee" with the last syllable pronounced separate-lee please. ;)
@2:38 If I can get at her, I doubt that HER mother will know her again!

There is an "ALL" line missing at the end of this song "Quiet calm deliberation..."

@3:35 for the "ALL" section please give me the whole section again from "Speak woman speak" right down to "Is he the king?"

And I'd like the final two choruses please: "Then hail O king of a Golden land..." and "Once more gondolieri..." right down to "we leave you with feelings of pleasure!"

Lovely sound and excellent pace, as always. However there are a few word changes I need:

In the first minute the line appears twice, but I'd like it to be "Everything is interesting, tell us, tell us all about it!"

In the very last paragraph (around the last half minute of the file) can you please say "quan-da-ry" with three syllables to make it rhyme with "wary" in the line above (I know it's stretching the rhyme, but Gilbert wrote it that way!)

Everything else was perfect!
