Oh, what the heck -- I'll take Father. Should take, like, two minutes. :)

Hello! Could I claim "Albert Perks the Porter (M)"; Ch 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9, 10, 14? It's would be my first bigger part... but I think it will be fun! :D

I also noticed Workman 2 (Ch. 11) was open, I could do that one as well.

Thanks, you are down for Perks the Porter! I generally try not to overlap major characters - it's confusing for the listener.

I've PLed both chapters, and Father is all PL OK! Actually, it's a fantastic read! You've made a real character out of someone who only has a few lines, but infused them all with emotion that made me smile and cry at the end! Very dramatic! :9:

If you are looking for more DR stuff, I recommend having a look at the "Count of Monte Cristo" project - it's a big one and has been going for a while but some decent roles have just opened up and there's lots of small characters as well - plenty of scope for acting!

Thanks for the tip! Your invitation to do characters in Monte Cristo (and The Gondoliers in another thread) have raised a question in my head about voicing characters in a work I don't know. I've started the discussion at viewtopic.php?f=23&t=72286 . (Followups there, please, not here.)

(EDIT) I requested Doctor D'avrigny in Count of Monte Cristo. :)
