thank you, Alan, and sorry for taking so long. But Robert is absolutely PL ok. I had a hard time finding the "Rob." and "Ron." abbreviations and not mixing them up, so kudos for not missing any lines  The songs have been in another file, so this concludes your work for this project. Thank you so much for your excellent performance.

I will be on vacation from Wednesday 27 March till Sunday 14 April
and unable to PL during that time. Thank you for your patience.

Thank you for the usual rapid PL and the compliment. As there are only a few roles outstanding hopefully this can be wrapped up soon if Chuck can find the time to edit. He seems to be very busy.
Happy New Year.

Hi Chuck,

Just wanted to pop in and let you know that this is next on my list of to-dos. I have a very slight cold at the moment, so as soon as it clears up, I'll get to it!

I'll do the boat song. I can sing it if you like. The best scan of the music that I found is from this undated pamphlet, but I think it should be safe: https://archive.org/details/CSM_01551/page/n49

No worries, Tomas. :-) I had faith in you. Thanks for the heads-up though.

That would be great! Thank you! :-)

As for the tune... feel free to be as faithful to the pamphlet as you'd like. I trust you'll be able to come up with something good.

Here it is! I thought about altering the volume so that it grows louder towards the end, as the stage directions indicate, but then I thought I'd leave that to you, if you wish.

Just lovely (and PL OK, incidentally!). Thanks again. :-)

And don't worry: I can fiddle around with this sound file in post to create the illusion of depth.

Let me help move this along, if I may, by claiming Andrew's part. I'll see if I can come up with an older sounding scottish Andrew that won't be confused with the younger, unaccented Ronald!

M'Swill is ready for PL!

P.S. I could find the right tune for the first song, but not for the second, so that's one I made up on the fly.

I appreciate the offer, but I think it might be best if we wait for another volunteer, just to make sure each character has a distinct voice. I will, however, definitely take you up on that if nobody takes it on (and I'm honestly still holding out hope that the original volunteer comes back and the records those ten missing lines).

Woohoo! Thanks! :-)

And no worries about emulating the "right" tunes for any of the songs. I doubt the listener will notice. :-P

absolutely wonderful performance, Tomas  The accent you're giving your character here is priceless and the songs are extremely funny. I especially love the second one, the chorus is a sort of ear-worm, sticks in the memory long afterwards. Brilliant job, well worth the wait. Thanks !

Both acts PL ok.
