Kitty wrote: July 21st, 2018, 6:36 am ok Foon, I listened to Miss Trafalgar  that name ! gets me every time. She is quite, how should I say, adamant that nothing should be "out of place" You play her very well, excellently characterized with a sort of stiffness that is appropriate.

Act 3 is already PL ok.

In Act 2, there is only one short "Everybody" line missing:

> at about 1:57: please insert: "Yes"

Thanks !

Sonia
Thanks Sonia! :9:

I added the Everybody line at 1:59:

Foon - Real life is getting in the way of LV, will be slow until all is back on track, please bear with me!

Sonia and my singing knocked together, 4:10, act 1. :)
wonderful job on the merging, Eva  how did you do that ? I tried too and it didn't work at all.

Acts 3 and 4 are also excellently played. Rose sounds so sad for most of the time, but well, she is heartbroken and it seems both her private life and her career have taken a turn for the worse, so this is understandable. Well played !

Acts 1, 2 and 3 are PL ok.

Actually, Act 4 is perfect as well, I would only have a small request:

> at 0:03: “Fancy our being together again, and at the West End!” and “Do you like the play?” – could you please leave a bit more space between those lines for the stage directions ? They are really too near to each other. Let’s make Todd’s job easier

Thanks for yet another great performance !

awww, Arthur sounds so sweetly innocent and enthusiastic in this act :9: I really liked this performance here, Nemo. The new Arthur is much nicer than the stiffer older version.

Totally PL ok ! Thanks :)

Sorry this took so long!
that's fine, Susan, it didn't take too long at all. Anyway, the play is far from being finished.

I liked Mrs Telfer's dignity here, even though one notices she is inwardly seething at the slight that they don't get good roles in Tom's play. Excellently done, Susan !

I only found one missing line:

Thanks !

oooh, what a short and snippish "yes" that was  Miss Trafalgar is not amused, I see

Thanks, Foon. This is PL ok now.

:D

I tried like 15 different yeses (or whatever the plural would be  ) and when I listened back and heard this one, I immediately knew that one would be hers  I really enjoyed reading her!

 15 yesses  that's commitment. I know from experience how silly it starts to sound when you need to repeat the same word over and over again.

But I agree: THAT yes is totally her. 8-)

Just checking in to let you know I have all four acts of stage directions recorded. Thats several hours of raw audio to edit. Some parts rawer than others, but all in all, it went fairly smoothly.
On the road again, so delays are possible

I can do it when I get home from work. I must have somehow lost it when I processed, but I kept a copy of the raw audio (things you learn the hard way...LOL).

It's really easy using tempo, especially here because our singing had the same shape; mine was just slower ... but you can use tempo to put almost any two people together if they say the same words, although you might have to add artificial spaces like you said! You can be quite lazy and use tempo to clean up, that's my lazy habit. :D

Yeah, that wasn't much space, was it?

Thank you, Sonia :9: Rose had a nice arc, but Tom and Imogen have all the witty dialogue.
