thanks, Leanne, your new mic sounds good. What did you buy ?

All lines in and sounding good, so PL ok.

Only one note: you are very much on the low side of volume. This recording is only 81.7 dB and I already checked all your DR bits for WBP and they are all under 80 dB  Now this one here can get amplified in the editing phase, so no need to reupload, but I wanted to mention the problem, so that you can try to amp your mic input for your poems in WBP ;) otherwise you will have to re-submit them all twice. You are using Audacity, right ? Check the slider bar next to the mic icon, is it all the way up to the plus sign ? Also maybe you could download Checker or ReplayGain to check the volume ? :hmm:

I just got a regular Snowball mic. Surprisingly, it works better than my old Apple Apogee mic which cost like 4 times as much xDDDDD

Oh okay I'll make note of that. Sorry, still getting used to this new thing ahah

Something from Apple costing four times as much should not be surprising.....

wonderfully done, Algy  you are swearing and cussing your way through the plot. Still there is humour in his characterization, which I think is excellently fitting to what Jonson had in mind for this role.

Act 2 is already PL ok.

one PL note for Act 4:

> at about 3:16: missing line: "You whoreson, bragging coystril!" (a bit more swearing is needed  )

and another PL note for Act 5:

> at 0:15: "O, did you find it now? You said you bought it erestwhile." - you said "brought" instead of "bought". Also, If I may, I would suggest a bit of a different intonation here, to be more in accordance with the sense of the scene. Stephen claims he found the cloak and beforehand he said he bought it. So I guess Downright would sarcastically stress on the verbs here: "O, did you find it now? You said you bought it erestwhile."

Great job, Algy ! Thanks

Now this Bobadill is a big talker, isn't he  well done, quite boisterous and bragging. You did exceed the volume limit a bit though, you are over 93 dB ;) easy on my ears, please.

I have only two small things to point out:

> at 0:02: for the voice credit, could you please give us the entire description as in the MW: “Captain Bobadill, a Paul's Man, read by Brad”

> at 1:21: “Not that I need to care who know it, for the cabin is convenient” – I think I hear “captain” instead of “cabin”, which doesn’t really make sense here :hmm:

other than that, perfect. Only take care of your pauses between speaking chunks. Sometimes you don't leave too much to make Todd's editorial job easy. :?

thanks Brad !!!! Looking forward to the rest.
