Here's Mrs White. Hell hath no fury like a mother scorned, as the saying goes  I gave it my all, Chris, I hope that is what you had in mind. Dad Rudd better go into hiding. I think there was never a mother so enraged since Grendel's mom.

I’ll hook my phone up to the truck’s sound system so I can get an initial listen to it travelling north up the coast in an hour’s time.

And I’ll PL it early tomorrow morning. The kookaburras and magpies outside will give the room just the right mood. :)

I reckon Lily’s Mother will probably feature in our LV theatrical trailer.

“This is eucalyptus ... the most powerful stick in the world. So, you gotta ask yourself a question: “Do I feel lucky?” Well, do you, Dad?”

I am so stealing this sentence! It has a touch of class that you just don't get when you "throw your hat in the ring", as is my want.

No, I just moved the sections into the MW, and had a listen to the voice characterisation. I haven't PLed it.

Since Lily knew her Mum would be PLing her, I suspect she maintained correct posture throughout, and probably dusted and vacuumed the recording studio first.

mightyfelix wrote: May 10th, 2018, 10:05 pm And here she is! Let me know if you think I've played her too timid. I didn't read much of the story, beyond the parts immediately surrounding my lines.
Lily is a perfect dear :9: yes she is a bit timid, but that's to be expected with such an overbearing mother  and now considering she is in constant dread of old Rudd, she is holding up just fine.

All lines are in, as far as I can see and they're all perfect. Only thing I would have to note is the volume which is between 80 and 85 dB, none of them reaches up to the desired minimum. You were being a bit too timid in that respect ;) But Chris will adjust the volume anyway, during assembly, so it's ok. I'll mark them all PL ok.

Chris, only one question concerning voice credit: do you want the entire description you mentioned in the colour-coded google doc ? If so, Devorah, you would have to read: “Lily White, wife to Dave". But let's wait for Chris to answer first.
