Also, Do I need to add any ID3 tags? Checker (the program) wanted me to have them... :help:
Thank You!
No, that's not necessary. I didn't think Checker said anything about ID3. I've certainly never used them, and it's never said anything to me about them. :hmm: Weird. Anyway, I know that there are still a few places in the wiki that mentions ID3, because that used to be an LV standard, but it's been several years. Those are added automatically now.

In Checker, if you go to Validation / Choose Validation Methods, you can remove the ID3 tag check. It could be that "strict" validation checks ID tags; I don't remember anymore. :)

Strict does check and complain (also about the _128kb in the filename); I use strict and ignore those complaints.

I've marked this PL notes, but Devorah could you please have a listen first? There is one loud spot with some distortion at 1:47, but if it can be cleaned up in editing I don't think a re-record will be necessary.
Whoops, I missed this. Yes, I see the spot you mean. I think that won't be a problem. Thanks!

Thanks Michael - sorry it took me a while to realise that this file was here! It's PL OK though - and very dramatic! I love his feeble protests at the end as he is carried out the door!

I have a few roles left in "The Railway Children" if you have time for some more dramatic recording? Bill the Bargee in particular is a good character piece, or Bill the Fireman - or even Perks the Porter if you have time for a major character.

Thank you! This only needs spot PL, right? That is, you only fixed those spots that Beth gave you notes for? Or did you redo the whole thing, in which case it'll need another full PL?

best have another listen, i should think. for the sake of 'keeping it all in the one place', i inserted the pickups into the entire section. also, there where one or two edits i made elsewhere. so, full PL

****i should mention: it took several attempts to upload section 5 - i re-rendered the mp3 file and that seemed to do the trick, but it might need a careful listening to. fingers X'D***
