I have a download of the pdf on my computer. Should I upload that somewhere?
I hope Biscuits and Bills wasn't taken down becuz of PD-ness issues? Do we know why Archive no longer has it?

Thanks, Todd

Oh! This is odd... I just looked up the Archive link to give you the exact error message Archive gave me; and now it's working again for me!
https://archive.org/stream/biscuitsbills00dubo

So it might have just been an error on their part? Doesn't look like copyright issues at least. :)
Foon - Real life is getting in the way of LV, will be slow until all is back on track, please bear with me!

Readers needed:
Dramatic Reading: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button
Folklore/legends: Arabian Nights Vol. 11
Play: Zeus the Tragedian

Foon, I now listened to your Narrator for Biscuit and Bills. BTW archive took the original down yet again  so I used your pdf instead.

All very well narrated, but there are a few pages missing:

PL notes:

> at 0:20: for the voice credits, would you not want to include the description as well, so listeners immediately know who is who in the play ?
like this: Jack Maynard, the husband, read by / Mrs Maynard, the wife, read by / Mr Brainard, the father, read by

also, if the Hall Boy does not have a speaking role, you could cut him out from the voice credits

and, by convention, we usually put the stage directions after the characters ;)

> after 14:50: the rest of the stage directions is missing, starting from p. 12 at the very bottom “Plunges left hand in dough” up to the end p. 16 :hmm: the audio seems to cut off abruptly, so I'm guessing you recorded the lines but the mp3 didn't get uploaded completely

Yes, that was an upload error I guess--my file was 20 minutes.
I've made the changes in the stage directions and reuploaded:

ah, good. Yes that is the main reason why we always want to include the length in our posts, then we would have noticed immediately.

voice credits now perfect :)

2 more notes for the rest of the narration:

> at 18:20: (p. 15) “Maynard with hands behind him” – you say “beside”, he stands in a different position then, but probably negligible, your choice if you want that changed

> at 19:55: “End of Biscuits and Bills by O.B. Dubois” – usually we also insert the writer’s name one more time at the end of the play

The Countess is ready for final PL.

Are we doing cast lists for this collection?

Thanks, Todd

The Countess is ready for final PL.
wonderfully funny, everybody has played their role to perfection.

One of my favourite small scenes is the dialogue between Criquet and Jeannot, after he got the money from the Countess. I think what makes it so especially interesting is that our Criquet is so much younger than our Jeannot and just picturing Jasmin and Alan bickering together on stage is wonderful.

But everybody was perfect and it's perfectly assembled as well, Todd.

PL ok.

yes, I just checked the last few and there at least we did as you can see here for example: https://librivox.org/one-act-play-collection-009/

Ha ha ha! I agree! Jasmin and Alan could not have more contrasting voices. It sounds really funny!

Hello. I recorded the part of Enid and want to start editing. I just wanted to make sure I understand correctly: I'm supposed to leave 2-3 seconds after Enid has a line/lines. I am also supposed to leave 2-3 seconds after a stage direction, but I don't actually read the stage direction because someone else would do that. Is that right? :hmm: Thanks!!
