Thank you. Don't know what the problem might have been. Blame the parlourmaid....

I like being useful, when I can. I'll read for the Useful Maid, if you please.
the useful maid is mainly reduced to either tears of joy or tears of shock so I am sure you will have plenty of fun with her. (yes these servants nowadays are quite taxing on the nerves) Thanks, Devorah !!!mightyfelix wrote: ↑March 31st, 2018, 9:31 pmI like being useful, when I can. Jeannot with missing line at 0:14. Hope I managed to get the accent close to the original.

Arjuna, for Chitra. I wasn't sure how I should pronounce Arjuna for the voice credit - I don't speak my own name during the play - so I put in two versions. I also gave a short credit as well as a longer version with the full character description.

This is known in some circles as "The Ugly Cry."

ok Devorah, I bow to you. This was surely one of the hardest roles I ever encountered. How could you be moping and crying so much ? I would probably have been totally out of it if I had to play this. And you played it so believably We definitely need NO stage directions for you saying "weeping" or some such.mightyfelix wrote: ↑April 1st, 2018, 10:55 am The useless, oops, I mean Useful Maid:

I know this sounds awful now, but I could not stop laughing each time you starting up crying again. Simply to listen to the sheer mass of cries during 4 minutes in a row was tickling my laughing nerves. This is simply wonderful. And I really could hear you stuffing your handkerchief in your mouth I was fully expecting you to blow your nose loudly at any moment (you spared me that at least)
Excellently PL ok. I wish I had heard this before my performance. I hope I sound exasperated enough at the appropriate points LOL
Thank you so much for this, Devorah !

The hardest part was keeping in character when my cats started fighting! In order not to break my momentum, I had to tell myself, "Waa-haaa, the cats are fighting agai-hai-hai-haaaiin!"
