Chapter 13 is PL OK! Nice work with the crowd scene of all the girls talking at once!

EDIT: I've gone ahead and put the chapters posted above into the MW so I can listen to them later today.

Great! After final PL is done, it looks like some chapters still need readers assigned to the sections. At that point, I think we'll be ready for cataloging. :)
School fiction: David Blaize
America Exploration: The First Four Voyages of Amerigo Vespucci
Serial novel: The Wandering Jew
Medieval England meets Civil War Americans: Centuries Apart

Oh, no! I thought we could use summaries from Wikipedia. I can try to quickly write up one, but it probably won't be very good. Would anyone else like to have a go?

I was just looking at the Gutenberg text and noticed there's a preface!! I'll ask stoogeswoman to record this for us.

Tricia,

So would it be alright if we combined the Dramatis Personae and the Preface? And then the intro would be, "Dramatis Personae and Preface of An Old-Fashioned Girl by Louisa May Alcott. This is a LibriVox recording..." -- correct?

And I have written a new non-Wikipedia summary. :) (I don't need a credit. )

Also, Christine said she wouldn't be able to get the preface recorded until next week. My apologies to everyone for not catching this sooner! :(

Yes, that would work fine. I think I'd do preface first, then DP, if it were my project. :)
