I really don’t know what there is to be scared about.

All you have to do is swab the decks with alacrity, and defer to Her Piratical Majesty in all things, and it’s actually quite a sweet gig.

Plus Saturday is Bingo Night.

Teague is stealing the show !!!!!! Monica this was awesome ! I hope your mouth is back to normal after this feat and you will not keep a life-long speech impediment. I am in awe that you could do this so well. I think I never would have dared to take on such a difficult role.

I loved every single line. And each time you say "be me shoule" I bet the audience is laughing

I do have a few notes though, some parts are missing, but the performance was OVER-THE-TOP !

Act 3: already PL ok, although I need to get a note to Todd, some parts are really very low in volume, and definitely need to be amplified to hear much. Todd: I hope that is not a problem in the editing phase, you cannot simply amplify it all in one go.

Notes for Act 4:

> at 0:17: (p. 78 top) “I did get all dish [chinks money] for being an evidensh” – you need to leave some space for stage directions here

> at 0:31: (p. 78 top) 3 missing lines: “Fet, der ish no dreaming [...] with dem dish half hour.”

Notes for Act 5:

> at 1:58: (p. 98 top) 1 line missing to complete the sentence “”arah if you vill play the constable right now, fet you vill come away

> at 2:06: (p. 99 top) “I have taaken my shaare of the plunder” – you say “spare

> at 3:30: (p. 108 bottom) “upon the rules of fighting” – you say “writing”

> at 4:48: (p. 111 middle) “and keep a great rogue for my clark” – you say “dark”

I'm sorry you need to get into Teague mode for a little while longer. But after that: rest your tongue and mouth a bit.

Great job ! Thanks so much.

Thank you, Sonia :) I had listened to Mrs. Mandrake around Teague and thought I oughta keep up with her

Teague will go hunting for dose lines :D Now that the knot in the tongue is a little less, the fighting might got back to what it's supposed to be (although writing is a real fight, too ;) )

You're picking up very fast  I'll note you as my sub

I just checked - indeed most of my mistakes were typos  I like to prepare my files as ebook on a ebook-reader, and somehow I didn't compare the recording against the original this time. I'll work on cleaning that up as long as I am still kind of in Teague-mode :D

Let me know if I need to amplify parts in act 3.

I let Todd tell you that. Depends how much trouble it is for him to deal with them all individually.

Exhaustive lines of the footman have been uploaded.
As always, I welcome any criticism. Corrections, mispronunciations noted, suggested improvements, or anything else which might hinder an otherwise excellent project, are most welcome.
I will otherwise assume that the footman's role is brief enough not to affect too greatly the flow of the play.

hey that's all part of the DPL service here :) and all the corrections are excellent and now Teague is entirely PL ok. Now go and put some soothing cream in your mouth  your ordeal is over.

 well compared to other footmen, this one already had quite some lines to say. But you mastered the job excellently, Roger (I had no doubts about that). No errors or missing lines at all  Perfect footman material. All Acts PL ok.

I did realize that considering who they are working for in the scenes, these were probably at least 3 different footmen. :hmm: But never mind that, I'm guessing this particular footman was short of money and had two day jobs to get the bills paid, and sometimes he was helping out his cousin on weekends at Lady Constance's. So all is explained logically.

Thanks Roger, yet again :)
