Thanks Peter - the colour I used for the Babylonian Queen is a light green which may not show up well on some people's displays. However Sonia has already recorded everything, and if Devorah struggles with it I'll change it later.

Sure I can't interest you in another character from the crowd in Chapter 8? There's lots of people running around in that chapter!

Alternatively, if you haven't lost the voice already there's another Sea Captain in Ch 9!

There's what seems like a typo near the end of the chapter.

‘Jane,’ cried Cyril with great presence of mind, ‘go and get the plate
of sand down for the Psammead.’ {Cyril speaks}

Jane went.

{"he" speaks}‘Look here!’ he said quickly, as the sound of her boots grew less loud
on the stairs, ‘don’t let’s tell her about the dungeon and all that.
It’ll only frighten her so that she’ll never want to go anywhere else.’

{Cyril answers} ‘Righto!’ said Cyril; but Anthea felt that she could not have said a
word to save her life.

I've checked a printed copy on archive.org, and that's what it says, but I think that most likely it was Robert who spoke in that last sentence (or Robert in the first one and Cyril in the last one. I suppose we must stick to the text, but it's a little odd.

Which I think makes the most sense, as Cyril has just been speaking. Are you using the scripts linked in the MW?

Have you done your 1 min test? I can't see it at the moment, but if you haven't, please do that first before recording the Village Girl, to make sure we can use the file.

Thanks April! The Voice of the Amulet is in the MW - can I interest you in any other parts? I have a Dancer in Ch 7, or lots of small gender neutral parts in Ch 8 or 11.
