Sure - or if you want a slightly bigger part the "Village Man" is the father of the first person the children meet when they travel back in time! He appears in both Ch 4 and 5.

Narrator 12 and 13 are PL ok.

There is a very strange static overlay at about 15:59 in chapter 14. I have no idea how that might have happened, but as the only words it covers are "said Cyril," and I have plenty of those to choose from, it will be fine. Otherwise, no errors, so I'll mark it PL ok.

Thanks, Devorah. EDIT: you're right: a very odd noise over that "said Cyril". I've no idea what caused that ... I must have jumped past it, assuming it was okay, when I was editing. It's lucky you have so many "said Cyril" 's to choose from!

Beth, I'm unsubscribing. I'll look in occasionally, but if anything needs doing with the narration, please PM me.
I'm a bit narrated out, so probably won't get involved in The Railway Children. Back to my solo ... and I've been asked to read someone's novel (outside LV).

I need to know which role you want before I can assign you!

Let's go with the Village Man for now, and you can have a look at other chapters to see if there is anything else you like. You can't be both the headman and the other man, as they both appear in Chapter 5, but you can claim roles in other non-overlapping chapters.

Hi Beth!

So Jasmin (Unicorn) was on a roll while recording her roles (no pun intended), so I had her read Section 35 Voice 2 Ch 11 in addition to her other parts:
