Elizabby wrote: March 16th, 2018, 3:51 pm Hi Amy! Please do your 1 minute test, then you can start by reading the "Lady" in Chapter 11, or the "British Woman" in Chapter 10 - this part doesn't require a British accent, the woman in question is just named British because the children have time travelled to Ancient Britain.
I figured out the 1 minute test, so here it is!

I think I will start with the "British Woman" in chapter 10, If that is alright?

I might have gotten this one wrong. Which line(s) is the 'Woman' one since I suppose it is not Imogens mother?

Hmm. Confusing.

Hi Beth,
Skeptic's role (chapter 14) looks too short.
Am I missing something?

Amy, are you reading your lines straight off of the Gutenberg website? There is actually a color-coded copy of the script. Go to the Magic Window in the first post and scroll down to the chapter you're reading from (chapter 10, in this case). You should see a purple link to click on. That will take you to a copy of the text. The British woman appears there in purple. That should hopefully clear up any confusion.

Hi folks, I've been at work today, I'll have a look through the files this evening.

Amy - now that your 1 min test is marked OK, it would be better to record the parts with the new settings. They are both short, but the recordings are far too soft.

Scroll down in the MW to the bottom to find the purple script links.

Also, if you don't have a reader file yet, what name do you want to be listed under in the catalogue?

Beth, I went ahead and entered all of the Psammead files into the MW and marked them Ready for PL. A few of them I went ahead and added to the assembled file I'm building and marked PL ok while I did it. I have all completed parts incorporated into the narrator file up through chapter 7.

PL OK! No, it was just the two lines so that's all done!

And I think that's everything for you! You've now done a character in almost every chapter, so thanks for all your help!
