there were TWO ?
The first one died of mushroom poisoning.
The second died of a broken neck. (He wouldn't eat his mushrooms).
 I see. Well, after Act 3, if I were you, I wouldn't eat those sandwiches, lovingly prepared by your dear Fanny. You quite annoyed her, you know...

I have a nice little show-down with Joe "Slime" Lebanon  and for some reason I again have to faint  why do I keep fainting in comedies ? :hmm:

Oh and in the dialogue where she explains her stockbrokering to Drumdurris, there is a bit of George Tidd showing through when she coaxed the Dean into betting on Dandy Dick

And don't worry Pa, your Kitty is quite on top of the situation. 8-)

PL OK. But again I don't like what Pinero has you do. It shows me an unslightly part of your character - sorta like a grey lustre, if I may reuse your earlier joke.

Thanks, Todd

Joe, stop airing my secrets! By the way, how did you like your grilled mushroom burger last night?

are you complaining that we are rich now and can continue buying our vegetables instead of growing them ourselves ? The Dean was not so fussy when George Tidd broke the law to bust him out of the jailwagon ;)

The Dean was, well, conflicted. Sir Julian has no such moral ambigurity. And, he likes the idea of growing vegetables. Vegetables don't scheme, and their only plots are those imposed upon them for their own good....

(I have mentioned earlier a book of sequels we did. Imagine a sequel to this one, with our baddies as indentured farm laborers digging a canal, Kitty and Julian discussing pigs and the coming county fair, and various grandchildren arriving speaking Scots and running around in baby-kilts.)

Thanks, Todd

Hey, Sis, time to do rewrites on the sequel, eh?

Wherein Joe and Fanny cop a plea bargain for turning State's Evidence on those "herbs" in Sir Julian's and Kitty's "vegetable garden".

thank you Jael, that was a quick turn-around. So Egidia is really quite a composed lady. She probably needs that to survive in such a frantic household LOL

I can mark Acts 1 and 4 PL ok immediately. :)

Only one missing line in Act 2:

> at about 0:10: “Without binding ourselves to abide by Sir Julian’s decision.”

and in Act 3 you missed an ALL line:

> at about 0:15: ALL. [With various expressions of disgust.] Ugh! that man!

thanks

Joe, once again, you show stunning originality! I do believe there is something suspicious about Kitty’s “herb and vegetable garden”. Here’s what we do. We blow the cover off their game, they go to the clink for the next 5 years, during which time, you and I “take good care” of their estate for them. Upon their return, they see themselves under immense obligation to us for our unsolicited generosity, and they show their appreciation to us by becoming our indentured servants!

don't mind them, Devorah. They are currently living in Botany Bay, that's why they are so obsessed with gardens

Will PL your files now !!! Thanks

nicely portrayed Devorah  she does sound a little bit like a spoilt brat though, and somehow I can't get the thought out of my head that she is Sheba all over again LOL all very fitting though. I see you in a long flowing evening dress. :D

btw I have never heard Imogen being pronounced like that (wikipedia doesn't even mention this variant either). But it sounds interesting.

Acts 1, 2 and 4 are already PL ok.

In Act 3, you missed the same ALL line than Jael:

> at about 2:33: ALL. [With various expressions of disgust.] Ugh! that man!

and I was puzzled at the surplus Good-bye at the end until I found it LOL. I guess Todd will keep the stage directions in place there, but it's a thoughtful touch. (what's that clock chiming after that ? somehow also fitting  )

> something else you missed: you forgot to say "read by Devorah Allen" in the voice credits. Since you have to insert that missing line in Act 3, could you also correct the voice credit in Act 3, please ?

oh and all Acts are below 86 dB. I'll make a note for Todd in the MW to adjust volume.

thanks
