I see you're almost finished here, Linny  So that we don't forget, we also need a casting list for the intro, I guess :hmm:

Sonia

Intro? The cast list is included at the beginning of each sketch.

oh, I didn't mean the audio-cast list, I meant the written list, as you can see here in the one-act-plays for example:
https://librivox.org/one-act-play-collection-010-by-various/

it's probably optional, if you don't want to include such a long list, I guess it's fine too. I think we're doing it mostly, because in plays there is no individual clickable credit in the playlist, only "group", so this is a way to link to the several reader's personal pages.

Oh, the cast list for the catalog page. ‘Intro’ confused me. I’ll post that at the end so you won’t have to search for it.

ah sorry. I meant "introduction" as in the summary on the first page. Misunderstanding there.

Ok, I'll wait then :) thanks

Hi Pete,
Thank you for your patience. Here are your PL notes for chapter 10

First line missing - Their reply was instant, and I shall never forget the magnificent harmony of their tones as they sang in unison:
"Miss Witherup—Miss Wi-hith-hith-erup?" "Miss Witherup—Miss Wi-hith-hith-erup?" they inquired.

These two lines were mismarked. Would you mind including them as well?
"We are glad," echoed Édouard, only in bass notes, and then they joined together in, "We are glad, we are glad, to see-hee-hee-hee you."

I wish I could write music, so that I could convey the delightful harmonies of the moment to the reader's ear, particularly the last phrase. If a typographical subterfuge may be employed, it went like this:
"To see—
hee—
hee—
hee
you!"

Start on C, and go a note lower on each line, and you will get some idea of the exquisite musical phrasing of my greeting.

You don't need to worry about the timestamps, just tack them onto the front or end.

Chapter 11 is PL OK.

Sonia,
I didn’t realize the cast list was something you could use prior to cataloging. I don’t want to hold you up so here it is. I used another ‘sketch’ project as a guide: https://librivox.org/modern-monologues-by-marjorie-benton-cooke/

I’m not positive on the coding for line breaks but hopefully it’s correct. Please let me know if it isn’t so I don’t continue to make the same mistake on future projects.

yes actually I need to put it after the summary, before I catalogue, so it gets uploaded with the rest.

it looks correct to me. Thank you, that's all I needed. Looks like a few chapters are missing though. :hmm:

Then as soon as the last part is PL ok, we can archive :9: Your summary is finished and all ? If you are happy with it all, just post me a quick note that I can archive, and I'll do so at the next opportunity.

Good catch on the summary. This was an abandoned project. Is it ok to use the same summary as the one Tricia finished from the same original BC?

Written by a fictitious first-person narrator, this book puts a humorous spin on encounters with several famous people of the time. "I set forth from my office in London upon my pilgrimage to the shrines of the world's illustrious. Readers everywhere are interested in the home life of men who have made themselves factors in art, science, letters, and history, and to these people I was commissioned to go." -- Summary by TriciaG and from the book.

I only listed the chapters with more than two readers.

yes, I think it would be, but maybe one could add one more sentence, something like "this version has been read as full cast dramatic reading" or similar :hmm: just to differentiate a little bit and make it more precise as a separate version.

ah ok, I see, because the other readers would be listed anyway, yes. Ok I guess we can leave it like that then.

thanks

Sounds good. Feel free to adjust the summary.

I followed this project as an example of how it was done. I didn't do the cast list there, just learned from it. https://librivox.org/modern-monologues-by-marjorie-benton-cooke/
