Hi Linny!

Here are my three sections for PL:

https://librivox.org/uploads/kitty/peepsatpeopledr_nansen_01.mp3
https://librivox.org/uploads/kitty/peepsatpeopledr_hackman_02.mp3
https://librivox.org/uploads/kitty/peepsatpeopledr_alfredaustin_04.mp3

Just a note for Alfred Austin in act 4, there is a chunk of dialogue near the end in the google doc file that is color coded for Miss Witherup, but is actually Austin's lines, so I recorded them. They are as follows:

"That's why I live under the roof instead of hiring chambers on the ground-floor. Up here I am not bothered by what in one of my new poems I shall call 'Mundane Things.' Rather good expression that, don't you think? The first draft reads:
Nemo

Thoreau - “Our truest life is when we are in dreams awake."

Thank you, Nemo, especially for double checking the color coding. I'll get you PLed today.

Sonya,
I guess it's time to take Philip out of the MW as DPL. As soon as I get these sections edited I'll post for an final section DPL. I don't mind PLing the parts.

yes I haven't heard from him in quite some time (which is frankly, quite worrying :( )

I'll take him out then and put you in.

Please don't put me in. I'm going to need a DPL for final chapters. Thank you.

ah ok, I misunderstood.

I leave Philip for now, since he did quite a lot of work previously. We can see in the end how we will credit the DPL.

Linny, if you don't mind PL'ing the individual roles, I'd be happy to help out with DPL'ing the final sections.

Section 1 is ready for PL. The part of Nansen is PL OK.

The Hackman for section two is PL OK. I enjoyed this character. :D

I need a break. I might be back later today but if not, I'll definitely be able to get to the other two tomorrow.

Great editing work Linny!

If Sonia can give me access to the MW, I can make updates there.

Thanks for the feedback, Nemo. Sometimes I wonder if all the fussing I do over timing is worth it. Apparently it is.

I’ve updated the MW until we get you access.

Section 2 is posted for PL. I'm not sure about the volume between Mrs Hand and Chuck. MP3Gain said it was ok on the album analysis but there are a couple of places I'm not sure my ear agrees with. Please let me know your thoughts?

Section 2 is PL OK!

I know what you mean Linny, but I find it very effective in this chapter. Hall Cain's softer but creepy/sinister voice in contrast to the harsher brashness of Miss Witherup's voice works well here, so I don't find it discordant at all.

This is my first time hearing Chuck in a DR .... he is soooo good!

Thank you! Yes, I wanted to keep the "creepy" effect but needed to be reassured that listeners wouldn't struggle to hear him. I love when things work out.

I'm starting my final listen of section 4 so it will be ready for you shortly.
