Thanks so much, Leanne! (Good job finding the text, too! I didn't realize I hadn't put it in yet... )
One note: at 0:47, you say the word 'Lucullus'. Could you please pronounce this word Loo-kool-us? (As in, a hard c?) :)

And as a side note for anyone else who was wondering.
The MW is now entirely filled in with the text links.
Also, please read the pronunciation guide, located in the DP, before you record.
Thanks! :D

I just randomly popped into Librivox and saw you were doing this. I haven't got time to help, but I love this book.

Dramatic Readings of Bible passages

Some reason I decided to try to write fiction. And it sucked me far away from LibriVox into the world of writing, editing and blogging.

Well, um, I know I didn't sign up for this, but I went ahead and made a recording for the singing Christians:

If you want it to sound like echo-y catacombs, like you mentioned in the tune audio file, have you tried using the "Reverb..." effect in Audacity? You just set "Room size" to how big you want the room to seem, and "Reverberance" to how echo-y you want it to sound. It is sooo cool!!

Here's Chapters 10 and 11 of Caecilia! I'll do 4 as soon as I can learn the tune. :)

That is totally fine! Signing up is not necessary for these parts, because I want as many people as I can get! (And your recording is absolutely wonderful! ) I love that effect! I'm usually too scared to mess with anything... so I have no idea what most of the buttons do.

Is the part of Marcellus still open? I'd love to read his part!! :D

There is a Marcellus in the book The Robe by Lloyd C. Douglas which is also about Ancient Rome, gladiators and Christians. He is a Roman who converted to Christianity. It was a cool book. I wonder if Martyr of the Catacombs and The Robe are connected somehow? The authors are different though. hmmmm...

That would be wonderful, thanks! I've never read the Robe, but I'll have to check it out! :D
