I can read Isaac in "The Proving of Abraham" if a woman's voice would be OK for a young boy? I think that's the last open part in the currently offered plays!

EDIT: It was literally 1 minute to record, so here it is. If you don't want it, just ignore it!

Hi I am happy to add this to the project.
A polite reminder that you are responsible for PL ing any parts that come in from readers on this play.
You will also be responsible for editing the final parts together.

Thanks
Michele

Due to a serious family illness I will be absent from the site for a while.

Would someone be able to DPL the sections that have been submitted so far in the MW.
Please post on here if you are able to thanks
Michele

Michele:

(1) Sorry to hear of your family illness. Hoping and praying for a good outcome for you and your family. (2) Thank you for welcoming me to the project. (3) I would be willing to DPL the sections in the MW that are not mine (Section 8 is mine).

I'll PL section 8.

I also think I'd like to take a stab at Daphne, if you don't mind.

(I just realized that sounds much more violent than it was meant to.)

Section 8 (the Boy from Georgia) PL ok. Some of your lines were pretty close together, however, which you may want to watch in the future. Leaving a full 3-5 seconds between each line makes it much easier for the editor, later on down the road.

Also, I noticed that the role of the Anarchist in "The People" is open again. It looks like a fun role. I'd like to take that, too.

Running time is 0:14.

It is PL-OK.

Many thanks,

Devorah:

Thanks for Pl-ing Section 8. The role of Daphne is yours. The anarchist is in someone else's play.

I'm in holidays and notice that the sections I claimed are all orphaned, despite my reclaiming them last week and promising to get them in by the month's end. :| They were the Anarchist, Patrick Gillane and Crassus. Maybe this was an accidental oversight?

I'm sure it was. I thought I remembered hearing something about some roles being given up, but couldn't remember exactly who or what. I withdraw my request for the anarchist. :D

Pl notes for "The People," by Susan Glaspell

Section 10 Earnest Approach PL-OK!
Section 11 Light Touch PL-OK!

Section 14 Man from the Cape at -:14 The line beginning "My oyster bed" and ending "I read what you wrote" on p. 11 of the script is missing. Other than that, the reading is perfect.

Many thanks to all,

Philip

You may have the role if you'd like! You'll probably get it in before I do, anyway. :P
