Chapter 24 file is actually chapter 25's recording:

0:00 - you say, "and let me see for him" should be "and let me stand before him!"

0:36 - you say "he may be in sympathy" should be "he may NOT be in sympathy"

Chapter 25 file is chapter 30's recording, but PL OK.

Chapter 30 file is for a different project, I think.

So, I need all of chapter 30, and corrections on chapter 25. Name the chapter 25 file as chapter 25. I've renamed the PL OK file you've sent with that name. :)
So Chapter 30, is PL OK, and chapter 25 is PL notes, and chapter 24 is not at all.

P.S. Chapter 24 was really a section for the betrothed, I was doing both uploading at the same time and got confused, I think it was my mp3 that mixed up the files, I wonder how that happened? :hmm:

I have uploaded the corrected chapter 27 with the missing lines.
https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/curseofcapistrano_captain_ramon_27.mp3

I can't find any line "I am proud to know you have visited me here" in chapter 19, I searched the book and it did not come up. I have attached a file called https://librivox.org/uploads/triciag/19_missing.mp3 with this line, in case I am missing something.

Thank you!

It's missing in the text linked on the main page. I added it from a scan of the book, and it's in the chapter texts in the MW. :)

Spot checks PL OK. Thanks!

OK, So I will claim the Sergeant role in Chapter 28, but I am a fairly new reader and have never done a reading involving dialogue, so I need some guidance. Exactly what do I read, as Sergeant, just HIS words with pauses of a specified length between the places where he speaks, or more? :help:

Great to have you on board! 8-)

Use the text link in the Chapter 28 line in the Magic Window box. For ease, here's the link:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1o2S45xRkX55QR06pIroDiBVwomFQZk0YuWBcKhF7XFI/pub

The sergeant's lines are all in blue. You can either search for "sergeant" (because I've titled each line), or just look for blue text.

Read just what the Sergeant says (just the blue stuff), leaving about 3 seconds between lines.

Name the file curseofcapistrano_sergeant_28.mp3

That's it! Holler if you have more questions. 8-)

Thank you! PL OK. (There was an OCR scanning error in the text - "an order for die arrest" - should have been "the arrest" - but I'm not going to bother with one word. It goes by so quickly.)

Unless you want a male voice different from the Sergeant in 28, I could do the Guard in 31, but I would need the text as it is not associated with the role in the Magic Window.

Thanks! I was hoping you'd take the guard, too! :)

Oh, I thought I saw somewhere that we used flac files now. I think I saw it in the betrothed. Do I need to change those from flac to mp3? :hmm:

Some dramatic works prefer FLAC - makes sense, since they're a lossless format. Personally, I don't care either way, so send 'em however you want. (Usually if you check in the first post, they'll tell you. If they want FLAC, they should have changed the first post to say that.)

Regular projects require MP3.
