Here's act 2 of John Alden. The durations around 5 minutes, -sorry, I'll give exact times on the next files. Please decide whether or not you want me to keep Alden's three songs or delete them from acts 2 and 4. I'll include all three in corresponding files but realize that I have a hard time keeping a tune and won't be offended if you ask me to delete his singing parts. Honestly, what you hear on the songs is as good as my singing gets and that's a simple fact.

Here's Master Alden's act 4. duration 2;44. He won't be angry if you ask him not to sing with the crew, he's more used to bawdy sea shanties which the other Pilgrims wouldn't approve of.

Hmm. Another admin must have done it for me (the adding to the MW). I changed the first post, but someone had already put her in the MW. :)

PL NOTES for William Brewster:

Act 1 -
  • @ 1:52 the text says "folk who only ask leave to serve..." was read as "folk who only ask to leave to serve..." which seems to be two different things to me, but I may just be getting nitpicky.
@ 3:16 - repeat of "And now, alas, I have no longer..."
Act 2 -
  • @ 2:01 missing "you shall be one of us (takes his hand) Captain Standish"
@ 3:20 missing "the hour of departure has come. We must say farewell to the friends we leave behind"
Act 4 -
  • @ 0:56 repeat of "Welcome to you all"
@ 1:34 repeat of "it is a fair land..."
@ 2:44 repeat of "Poor Robert Cushman..."

I've noticed that a lot of PL-ing is going on, which is wonderful. I just wanted to respectfully ask that the MW be updated to reflect that my sections have been posted and are ready for PL-ing as well.

Thanks!
