Bess is absolutely wonderful. I don't know if I can pass for five, but I'll try...Twinkle88 wrote:Maybe Rob Bhaer or Bess Lawrence? They're both cute little five-year-olds, if you wouldn't mind playing a little kid. I could also recommend Mary Ann, the maid, or Amy (March) Lawrence, the rich young lady. Any preference?EstherbenSimonides wrote:I'm interested in playing a part, but I haven't read this book in a really, really long time. Could you maybe assign me something (almost anything is okay)?
EDIT: Whoops, Amy Lawrence got taken!
EDIT: I'm going to go ahead and assign you (like you asked) to Bess Lawrence, before any more of the roles get taken up. You certainly can change this assignment if you want to, though.

I'm having trouble getting the link for the text for chapter 9 to work. I think there's something wrong with the coding (As in, you may have missed an end tag, so it entirely got rid of the link.)

Since I happened to be online right now I fixed it for her. It was simply a typo in the link.

It's fixed now. Thanks for letting me know about that!aaronml wrote:Also, I'm recording chapter 1, and I think I see an error...
Haha, I knew there was a reason I wanted to make the cow a claimable character.SweetPea wrote:The Cow:

He said he didn't want to be part of this, but when he heard there was a cow, he changed his mind There are a few different versions so you can choose which one you like best.
And HE IS REALLY GOOD. Thank you!
Thank you, Joey! First PL OK file!Kangaroo692 wrote:Cow is PL OK!
Note to Twinkle - I haven't made any changes to the MW other than to change the status from assigned to PL OK, because I know you're still working on the MW and I don't know how you want to format it.
Yeah, thanks! I think the MW will be finished in just a little bit....
Bravo! It's perfect, Aaron! PL OK! (Oh, yeah, and your new mic sounds great!! )aaronml wrote:Here's Nat chapter 1:

Bess Chapters 11 and 21 are PL OK! She was such a little cutie! You did a wonderful job!
PL note for Chapter 13:
- Misread line @ 0:07: "I love my tuzzin best, 'tause she is twiet."
I'm pretty sure "twiet" is translated from Bess-language into "quiet" rather than "sweet." So I think that last word should rhyme with "quiet." Confusing, I know.
PL note for Chapter 9:
- Missing line @ 0:05: "boo tite"
Now I have no idea what she was trying to say there.
Haha, and no, you didn't have to sing the song. But since you did, it just might get thrown in! I think you did a really great job with it, though! Thanks!

Alright, the MW should be all set now! (Sorry that took so long...)
Whoops, I've overseen that somehow, never mind. I'd be great to take whatever role of the ones left you think would fit for me Thank youTwinkle88 wrote:Oh, I'm sorry, Gaby, but Daisy is already taken! Would you like to pick another role?zwergwolf wrote:Twinkle, I'd be glad to take Daisy, if you think that could fit for me

Hi there,
since Twinkle88 kindly asked me to consider joining your illustrious group of speakers, I have to say I'm interested, but haven't done any reading yet.
Is there any chance to see an overview of the texts of Prof. Bhaer?
And yes, I'm german, that's why I'm asking about more information for that part.
