Sorry everyone, I've been slammed rather unexpectedly with a lot of work this week. I'll upload more templates soon!

The Mikado

This is a first effort, if anything is unsuitable I can redo it. Also the volume levels may be a bit dodgy as I am having recording equipment problems.

I just wanted to let you know that I will try to get my part in soon, but right now I sound a bit funny because of a cold so it'll be a couple days at least. :)

I'm sorry about the delay on Pooh Bah. Both of my computers are in for repair. I hope to have one back at the beginning of next week, so should be able to submit some time in that week.

I think my part is one of the choruses. Has the template been uploaded yet? Thanks! :)

Here's Pooh Bah, Act 1:

(11.34)

I've recently installed Windows 10 and haven't been able to get Checker working yet. Please tell me if the volume is away from 89db and I'll adjust it.

I'm sorry about the delay, but I've had computer problems for weeks. This is my fourth attempt at recording; I had to delete the third recording when I was editing it and realised that I'd picked up the ticking of a clock in the next room! I'm half way through editing Act 2.

Thanks Peter! I've been concentrating on the projects which are close to finishing for the LV anniversary, but I'll listen to this file as soon as I can!

There's no hurry.

Here's Pooh Bah Act 2.

Again, please tell me if the volume needs adjusting ... Oh, and tell me if I drop too much out of character, too.

Thanks everyone! I've been focusing on the Anniversary projects to get them done by the Aug 10th date, but now the MW should be fully up to date!

Thanks Alan! The Mikado is all PL OK, and hilarious! I loved his song! It also helps that you obviously know the material very well already!

Todd, Act 1 is just missing a few lines from the chorus part at the end (well done for finding all those other chorus bits, BTW!)
O ni! bikkuri shakkuri to! - this line repeated five times,

O ni! bikkuri shakkuri to! Oya! Oya!
- one of these at the end.
The Japanese is read pretty much as it looks - it's a Chinese script language so when rendered into English script it is basically phonetic, and all the vowels are short like "oh!" or "toe" for "o" and "u" is like "book" or "look". Japanese pronunciation file is in the MW.

Act 2 is PL OK!

Peter, I love that your Pooh-Bah is definitely the baritone to Todd's tenor! Nice work! Acts 1 and 2 are both PL OK! However, if you felt like recording the Japanese chorus as given above for Todd, that would help fill out the chorus a bit? In a separate file, or you can add it to the end of Act 1.

Kathrine, brilliant narration, many thanks! It isn't easy to find all the little narrator pieces but you managed it! Acts 1 and 2 are both PL OK!

I loved reading Pooh-Bah.

I'll get that chorus line sorted later today.,
